The name speaks a lot about the design of our cabin, from the old milker chandelier to the rustic furnishings it has to be called The Rustic Udder! The 2,400 sq ft. open layout has a loft with 1 Queen and 2 Twin beds, a queen size murphy bed, and a queen sleeper sofa in the game room. The bathroom is complete with a washer/dryer and a rustic shower. If cooking is your thing the kitchen has a full size range and refrigerator, and is stocked with coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and etc. Maybe you are more interested in having someone else do your cooking, not a problem! For an additional fee, a home cooked lunch/dinner can be provided. Breakfast items will be available in the cabin for you to pick from. There is an outdoor grill located in the she shed out back. In the shed you'll also find a swinging bed and plenty of other seating options. A seasonal stock pond pool is located by the she shed, to help cool and relax you. And if that's not enough to entice you to stay, the Rustic Udder is only 30 mins or less to some great locations such as, Choctaw Casino Resort, Lake Texoma, Rock House Vineyard, Blue River winery, Crystal Creek Winery, Harbinger brewery, Downtown Durant and McGee Creek State Park. So if your looking to relax or have some fun The Rustic Udder is the perfect place to stay!

We only stayed one night to attend a concert at the Choctaw. The place is so cute, clean, and fun. The host even had delicious strawberry cookies for us! We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all of the amenities and outside area. We will definitely be booking again…only longer next time!

This place was amazing and all 5 of us ladies was blown away with how adorable everything was. The host went above and beyond she even left brownies for us 😍. Gem in the country!!

Fantastic place for weekend getaway and girls trip! This house has the perfect country vibe with cute rustic decor, large covered outdoor area with lights, and a stock tank waiting pool to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoors! The large living area includes a pool table, bar, comfy couches, Bluetooth/karaoke speaker, Tv everything you need to have a fun time. The beds were comfortable (2Q, 2T) and had plenty of room for our small group. Location was great only 20 minutes from the Casino, Walmart, Restaurants. Will definitely stay here next time we come to Durant! Don’t miss out of this country gem!!

Great Getaway

Enjoyed our two night stay. We went to enjoy some stargazing and hiking. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed, the rental was well prepared and well stocked and very clean. Darla and Maverick showed up as we arrived with some goodies and back in a while with a wonderful homemade meal and pie that we were able to order ahead of time! We enjoyed a DVD movie that evening. Darla left her phone number and was able to answer any questions about our stay and helped us with the local areas that we were there to visit.We hope to return this fall for another weekend getaway "at the farm" !

I booked the property for a surprise birthday getaway for my guy and we absolutely loved all the farm /country decor and the details that the owners have put into it. Darla is such a great host and even made our stay extra extra special with a personalized happy birthday sign for my guy! We enjoyed the galvanized trough pool, Karaoke, pool table / ping pong and the ice machine was great for making our Sat night margaritas! There was so much to do that we didn’t even turn on the tv. The property was close to Choctaw casino where we went to see Jon Pardi. Can’t wait to come back this fall and bring some friends to sit outside around the fire pit and outdoor area.

Better Than Expected!

My wife and I were very impressed with this place and the special attention put in place by the property owner. There were cookies and chocolate covered strawberries waiting on us because I had mentioned it was a Valentines surprise stay for my wife. We both would love to come back in the Spring or Summertime and enjoy the outside grill and lounge area. 10/10, great place to stay and more affordable that an upscale hotel with more ammenities!

Wonderful time

Really enjoyed the quaint property. Everything a person would need for a relaxing weekend visit! Was in town for the Blake Shelton concert and wanted to stay away from the crowded casino and this place was perfect. Wish we could have stayed another night.

Our family owns and operates a beef cattle operation, and so we thought we'd try our hands at this! We believe that our Faith, Family, Friends and Farming are the most important things in life! Can't think of a better way to meet and make new friends than doing this!

What makes this property unique

The Rustic Udder is surrounded by land belonging to the Robinson family. Depending on the time of year, there will be cattle grazing or hay on the ground. Farming and ranching is our way of life around here. I have scavenged barns and old house places in our surrounding area to help decorate our place here and I’m now in the process of a couple more projects for the Rustic Udder. Located behind the Rustic Udder is an old shed that is now a garden “ she shed “ ! You can relax on the swinging bed or sit by the tractor rim fire pit while enjoying a nice breeze and a peaceful view. Perhaps you might enjoy cooling off in our stock pond pool! Our "aMOOsument" room/Game room is now complete, with a pool table/ping pong table, darts and a bar to hang out at. We are also hoping to have our grain bin patio set up before the summer is over! I am constantly coming up with ideas for our rental, so as long as I can keep my husband on board with me, the Rustic Udder will only get better!!
