We specifically rented this condo as it had elevators for my old dad and mom, who have a very hard time walking and climbing up and down the stairs. The arrival, on the second day the elevator stopped working. We repeatedly requested them to fix the elevator, but it was not fixed and eventually we left.

Unit not wheelchair accessible, broken elevator, not assist provided by management
Elevator stopped working on afternoon of 3rd day of 5 day/4 night stay. Elevator had been out of service before however property managment company said they had not reports of issues. Fire Dept had to assist mobility challenged family member down from unit. Property Mgmt company said elevator was not their resposibility and did not call for elevator repair even after me telling them that I aunt was stuck on 3rd floor. Mgmt offered to send maintenance staff to bring my aunt down. Condo was very worn, ice machine also did not work, dishwasher flooded kitchen and we did not use it again. Elevator certificate was 9 years expired.

I want to clarify that we did report the elevator issue multiple times to the on-site HOA, who is directly responsible for building maintenance, including elevator operations. Unfortunately, since the elevator is not under our direct control as the property management company for the condo, our team was not authorized to initiate repairs. That said, we made every effort to support you during the outage — including offering to send our maintenance staff to assist your aunt safely from the unit — and we extended compensation as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. We’ve also made note of your comments regarding the condo itself as we take guest feedback seriously and want to ensure each stay meets our standards. Again, I sincerely apologize for the difficulties you encountered. We truly hope your next experience — wherever it may be — is smooth and enjoyable.
