Secluded along the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains we have the ideal vacation getaway. This unspoiled paradise is perfect for a romantic rendezvous or a family retreat. With 10+ acres there is plenty of space to soak up the crisp, clean mountain air and enjoy the great outdoors. Walk, hike, or visit the nearby creek. Catch a glimpse of wildlife roaming the area. Play outside on the large front lawn and fire up the BBQ grill for a picnic on the covered patio. At the end of your day, watch the sunset from the porch swing, curl up by the gas fireplace or roast marshmellows around the campfire area. The cabin is located just outside Luray in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, minutes from Skyline Drive and Luray Caverns. Open year round and now with Starlink high speed internet service.

Dox Den was a lovely place for our family to stay while we explored Shenandoah. About as close as you can get to the park without actually being inside it! Will always look here first for any future trips.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin and its location was perfect after a long day of hiking in Shenandoah National Park. It was nice that we were able to just kick back and relax on the front porch where we saw fox, deer and the resident ground hogs. I highly recommend for any future stays!

We have stayed at this lovely property before. It is very quiet, clean and comfortable. I remembered from our last stay that there is no WiFi or cell phone reception so I brought along Yahtzee as a fun distraction! I felt totally relaxed and we both enjoyed the porch more than anything else!

Wonderful cabin!

We had a great long weekend here with our dog Reggie, who loved running around the enormous yard. It’s super close to the entrance to Shenandoah yet feels very quiet and private. Everything you need for a good hiking weekend.

Darling cabin a stone’s throw away from Shenandoah!

We adored our stay in this adorable cabin. It was a perfect getaway from the city, nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge and minutes away from Shenandoah. This cabin couldn’t have worked better for my small family, with all the amenities of a proper cabin experience. Highly recommend!

The cabin has a rustic feel, but is just modern enough to provide you with all the amenities of home. The property is bordered by rock walls dating back to the late 1800's. Years of hard work was put into rebuilding the walls as you see them today.
