Amazing architect home quiet area perfect distance to beach

We would stay there again and already recommended it to friends. Beautiful setting in the trees with the bird songs and incredible views and light. The inside is perfect with a well appointed kitchen and gorgeous living room. The distance to beach is a 10’ easy walk

We loved it!

We loved it! House was warm and comfortable, we loved relaxing on the balcony with the view at night after a day of exploring the island, a wonderful retreat over the top of the trees. We drove to Onetangi to the Boathouse cafe and beach for breakfast (a great spot!) but you could easily have a nice walk down the hill we have young kids so walking back up a bit much. And was a lovely experience to stay in a designer style home. Thanks for an amazing and memorable Waiheke stay!

Stylish and comfortable

We had a great week enjoying the many features of the property. Really appreciated how well set up the kitchen was. We had one really hot day and retreated to the deck over the garage. Would have been good to have had some dedicated outdoor furniture there. Otherwise we lacked for nothing.

Great property with great views nestled in the native bush above Onetangi Beach.

Great property with great views nestled in the native bush above Onetangi Beach. 900m walk down the road to the beach, or a slightly longer walk via Onetangi Bush Reserve for the more adventurous. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were super comfy with great linen. Great spacious open plan house. Lounge was great to chill out in on a rainy day, and the multiple decks were stunning to sit out on and enjoy a wine looking at the view. Only downside was the dryer was not working.

Nice Property located within a short walk to the Beach.

Nice Property located within a short walk to the Beach. Our visit was in the winter and we found the wood burner inadequate. It struggled to heat up the house and the vents to turn the heater down did not work so in the morning its had burned out. We also felt the new shower room could do with an extract fan.

Just amazing

If you look at the photos of this property and think that it’s too good to be true …. They are 100% accurate. The house is simply amazing. I’m not sure who the architect was who designed it but they must have been an eccentric genius 😄 I’m hoping we can stay there again !
