This property is in a fantastic location and offers sweeping bay views, but our stay was severely compromised by poor cleanliness and missing basic amenities.Exterior windows are filthy and covered in cobwebs. Inside, cleanliness is hit-or-miss. Our 70-year-old grandmother had to wipe thick layers of dust off her bedroom furniture before unpacking, and the vinyl sides of the kitchen cabinet are actively separating.Despite being listed for 12 guests, the home is completely unprepared for groups. Bathrooms lacked hand towels, washcloths, and floor mats, offering only tiny, paper-thin bath towels. We arrived to zero paper products (no toilet paper or paper towels) and nearly empty kitchen cabinets. Kitchen essentials like a coffee maker were missing, and with only 8 sets of silverware for 10 people, several of us had to eat with chopsticks.Meal preparation was a total failure. The grill fits only two steaks, and the oven was completely out of service. When contacted, the host, Leo, admitted he knew it was broken before our arrival. Instead of taking accountability, he claimed that because the oven wasn't explicitly listed in text amenities—despite being in photos—it wasn't guaranteed, suggesting a single air fryer as a substitute.An air fryer cannot feed 10 people. Had Leo disclosed this beforehand, we wouldn't have wasted 300 on groceries, including 10 wagyu steaks that went completely to waste. Leo offered no compensation, only excuses. Guests should beware.
