The room was good and clean. Has 2 bedrooms which was perfect for me and my fiance, daughter and her best friend. Host was very nice and very accommodating. Was a spontaneous trip to Edmonton and this was a nice stay for such short notice.

Wish I could do 0 stars. Do not book this place. He tried to negotiate an extra cleaning fee before giving the check in instructions. This is not a “entire place” booking, this is a basement suite with the owner upstairs. The entrance is part of the main house. The place was disgusting, stains on the blankets and walls, tape all over the boxspring, only 2 beds not 3, the couch was not a pull-out and had food all over it. The bathroom towel was a microfibre cloth. I doubt “cleaner” he hired was even a “cleaner”. We didn’t even stay the night, ended up complaining to VRBO and got a refund and had to book a hotel. The owner then told me he was going to take me and VRBO to small claims court. You have been warned.

Please try to not take too many of these bad reviews seriously, I have a great place and communicate well and I provide an affordable place. I just renovated it and put some new expensive furniture in it. This guest was really strange, they stayed the night and at 1 am complained to VRBO got a refund because they needed a third bed. It was in the adjacent room and upon request we bring it into suite. They never requested it. This guy is a scammer. At 1 am while we were sleeping he somehow managed to get vrbo to cancel and refund his money but he stayed the night anf took off early morning. I've seen this type of scam before. I have pictures of the bed being used, pictures of the furniture moved in the living room so someone was most likely sleeping on the floor not knowing there was a third bed in the adjacent room. I'm not having it this is ruining my reputation ruins my business from these scam artists. I offered really cheap prices this one was at $75 a night but these are the type of people you get sometimes. Some are good and some are trash. Warning to all hosts.

Hi everyone, please be aware of this host. It’s look like his out of his mind. Just trying to blackmail us as a guests by making false accusations when staying there property. He didn’t even clean his pathway and make us got accident when passing by. This guy is negotiating out of VRBO knowledge. We are already pay with VrBo in the right date but he intentionally change the date to get him profitable. This is the very first time worst experience with this host. I don’t recommend him to everyone.

John, you didn't even stay at the property somebody else stayed there and I had no communication whatsoever with those people. There are numerous noise complaints throughout the night and it was not a good experience. We try to cancel the reservation because of so many violations but it wasn't done on time and now you have this retaliation review.
