Clean, walkable, cute!

Amazing! Just enough for a weekend close to Portland/beach. Comfortable temperature with the AC. Host and property manager were very responsive. 10min walk down quiet side streets to get to the beach. Also walked just 1min to dinner at the Local OOB pub- delicious! Will definitely be back. Thanks so much!

Great unit. It does have a weird layout and the bedrooms are attached upstairs. It’s tough for 4 people with only one bathroom, but the bathroom was well stocked with items and the kitchen had everything you needed. The gifts left for us was a great touch, showing how caring you are to your guests. Easy clean up, they just ask you put laundry in one pile. We swept the floor and did the dishes and easily left before check-out. It’s about a 15 min walk to the pier. I think the price point is high considering locating away from the “happenings.”

Great location and dedicated parking spots were a plus. W & D are in a slightly sketchy basement/cellar. Need a dedicated set of linens and pillows for futon. The apartment was clean and the beds upstairs are super comfortable.

We ended up staying only one night although we had booked 5 nights. The location and amenities were fine, but the fact that the bedrooms were upstairs and the bathroom down a rather steep flight of stairs, was something we hadn't expected and weren't comfortable with (bad knees). Also of note is that to get to the second bedroom, one has to walk through the first bedroom; and the upstairs could also be cooled only with a (very loud) standing air conditioner in the second bedroom. Luckily it was just the two of us but if we had someone else joining us and staying in the other bedroom it would have been inconvenient and awkward.

The house was clean and the location was very good. There were a couple of things that I hope the owner will improve upon. Number one is the pillows. These were the flattest pillows that I have ever tried to use. Fortunately, there were 4 on each bed. The other is the TV trays for nightstands. There are other options for the owner to rearrange a couple of things to give you an adequate nightstand with a lamp on it versus the lamp being across the room. I might have missed it in the description, but the bedrooms were adjoining. You had to walk through one bedroom to get to the stairs or access the other bedroom. Both bedrooms are upstairs. The bathroom is downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes and the neighborhood was quiet.

The little touches made by the host were amazing. It is 2 floors and everything was very clean and cute. Parking was perfect and it is in a neighborhood with a great restaurant and close to the beach.
