4/10 Poor

Not what the pictures or reviews showed

This property had 5 star reviews and it was far from a 5 star property. The very first thing we saw once we opened the front door was a rug that was nasty, that could have easily been thrown into any normal washing machine. Duct tape on the floors at the thresholds and all throughout the kitchen. Over all feel of the property was that no one cared about the cleaning or the appearance of the property. Bed in the master felt like it would break at any time and every time you moved it squeaked you naturally rolled to the middle of the bed. Looked for something besides a glass to put water in the Keurig and there was nothing in the cabinets, when I opened the Keurig the last coffee pod was still in it from previous guest. It is very evident that the owners have not stayed or even been in this unit or maybe they just don't care. When communicating back and forth, once we checked out early and got a hotel room, I was told that they would be sure to let the owners know.

We're sorry the condition of the home didn't reflect the experience shown in our photos and previous guest reviews. The cleanliness and maintenance concerns you described, including the entry rug, flooring, master bed, and Keurig, are not the standard we want guests to encounter. We've initiated a full inspection and are working with our cleaning and maintenance teams to address each reported item so the home feels clean, comfortable, and cared for from the moment guests arrive. We appreciate your candid feedback and are using it to provide a better experience moving forward.

House was a great layout, large kitchen and nice large bathroom. However, the house definitely needed a thorough cleaning and the floor fixed. The kitchen floor had duct tape in several places holding down the flooring. There were multiple electrical outlets that did not work. Ceiling fan light did not work in one bedroom. Handle on screen door was broken. Vents were full of dust and needed cleaning. No soap for showering. I have never stayed somewhere that did not offer soap for the shower. Beds were old and worn out. I slept on the couch because they were so uncomfortable. Host was nice and responsive.
