The cabin was very private and comfortable for our family of four, even with 1 bathroom (tankless hotwater heater!!). We enjoyed the swimming hole every day and the cabin was a perfect base camp for GSMNP and Townsend! We will return and very much recommend this property!
We had a great experience with our stay, both in the area and in our accommodation! Host was great with communication and having everything ready for us. Very cozy and private and we felt the Love… thank you very much!!!
We enjoyed our stay here! So peaceful and we felt right at home. We love the Townsend area away from all the touristy stuff of PF & Gatlinburg. Very clean and everything we needed. Love the river just steps away. Big yard for those with kids. They had cornhole boards and other outdoor games.
This was our 2nd time at the property. It is perfect for those who want the nearness of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park but don’t want the crowds. You get privacy, security and the river. You can “live stream” by putting your chair in the middle of the stream(the river). So you have access to part of the river you can actually walk across or sit your chair or tube in the water. Using the fire pit for evening relaxation is perfect. The large window in the kitchen gives a magnificent view of the country side as well as local wildlife. We will return for future visits. The house is a wonderful example of the workmanship of the professional who done the remodel. It may inspire ideas to use at your home. The home has been clean both times we have been blessed to stay there.
Great location right on the river where you can go tubing. Home is surprisingly nice and cozy on the inside and has a nice fire pit and large yard outside. Property is very private with only 1 other house in the vicinity that is far away. Home is on a dead-end road and there is zero traffic. Highly recommended!
Awesome! The house is just across the dead end, road from the river. The large windows allowing a great view of the country surrounding. Quiet and peaceful. I truly enjoyed sitting in the river each day. Communication with the host was easy and prompt response every time.
We go to the mountains every year. This year we decided to go in the summer instead of the fall or winter. Our goal was something on the river. This cabin didn’t disappoint! It was perfect for the three of us. We played and fished in the river, took day trips to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Park. We tubed down the river. I even saw an Elk in the front yard one morning. The cabin reminded me of staying at my grandparents house when I was little. It was a great overall stay!
