Welcome to Nunyara, a hideaway nestled on 3.5 acres in the heart of the Seven Valleys and the Blue Mountains. Nestled at 1,073m high, the retreat is surrounded by panoramic vistas, with cliffs of the blue mountains that will take your breath away. With a hot tub and sauna to unwind, a perfect night sky to star gaze, and endless views for days, this is your perfect home away from home.
Note: We have changed from accommodating 8 guests to 6 guests - Bookings made prior to 15th April 25 will remain unchanged.
This home offers a serene Blue Mountains escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Architecturally designed by Nigel Bell, the eco friendly home boasts a timeless profile that bathes the living areas in natural light, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere throughout. The thoughtful architecture seamlessly blends with the mountainous landscape, offering a visually appealing and stylish escape that is both kids friendly and inviting.
Enjoy the spacious bedrooms and living area with a group of friends or family, and the opportunity to soak in the captivating surrounds of the valley while you warm up in an outdoor bath. Bird watchers will be sure to love the place, as you'll see many native birds from the patio of the property - Cockatoos, Kookaburras, Rosellas, ducks and more. Bird food provided!
The property is located close to Dargan Arch and Zigzag railway, and is right in the heart between 3 beautiful parks - Blue Mountains National Park, Gardens of Stone Conservation Area and Wollemi National Park which is the Jurassic age home to the Wollemi Pines. Spend your days exploring the magnificent Seven Valleys of Lithgow, Kanimbla, Capertee (the world's second largest canyon), Wolgan, Tarana, Hartley and Megalong
Note: If looking for a swimming spot, we are right next to Dam's Cliff/ Clarence Dam.
With its warm and inviting ambiance, Nunyara provides the perfect setting for you to unwind and reconnect with nature. Indulge in the stunning views, take in the crisp mountain air, watch the golden sunset with the occasional company of wallabies and kangaroos, and experience the magic of the mountains and valleys right at your doorstep. Spend your days hiking (the famous Grand Canyon Walking Track is only 20 minutes away), bird watching, bushwalking, canyoning, mountain biking, or just simply relaxing with a cuppa (enjoy our very own home coffee roast, roasted in the blue mountains - buttcrack.roast) by the fire.
