Het was een zeer goed geoutilleerd huis. Alles was er om uitgebreid te koken, te drinken, te zitten. Zo goed, dat de ruimte daardoor ook wat vol is. Het was even zoeken naar hoe we onze bagage en koffers kwijt konden. Kleinere mensen kunnen wat moeite hebben met het ophangen van de kleding.De tuin met zon én schaduw is heel erg fijn om te hebben met zitmeubel, tafel en stoelen, ligstoelen en bbq. Neem wel muggenspul mee.Het huisje is van binnen mooier en beter dan op de officiële foto's, net zoals de tuin. Vandaar de eigen foto's toegevoegd.Op loopafstand zijn supermarkten, bakkers en een tankstation. De pizzeria in het dorp ernaast, La Bassée, was leuk. Auchy-les-Mines niet in geweest maar de straat waar het huisje aan ligt is dé doorgaande weg maar daar heb je binnen en in de tuin geen last van. Ludo is een aardige host al had hij nog niet eerder met Vrbo gewerkt waardoor wat onduidelijkheid was rondom het cancellen van twee dagen van onze kant uit. Wel communiceerde hij (daar) snel (over).
