About this property

This is an exclusive gated community with fruit trees, palms, tropical foliage, and popular with wild parrots and iguanas that frequent the area. The common areas also feature a hot tub, fitness center, community library, and a heated infinity pool overlooking the Bay and Old Town Puerto Vallarta.

The space
Selva Romantica is located just two streets up from Olas Altas in the heart of Old Town, or Zona Romantica, in Puerto Vallarta’s south shore. Just a short stroll to Los Muertos Beach, Malecon, tons of highly rated restaurants, shopping, parks, local vendors, art galleries, and the famous Pier.

Safari 5 features a private patio overlooks Fransica Rodriguez street towards the ocean and pier. The patio has tropical planters center by the Bayan tree with stars lights. There is a day bed for reading, afternoon naps, or dine al fresco. The kitchen is fully stocked and open directly out to the patio. The interior has been updated in 2020 with a new sofa bed, Smart TV, washer/dryer , Netflix with full English/Spanish cable. There is a desk if you need to work with high-speed WIFI. The bedroom is separated by patio doors that feature a King size bed with a stone accent wall. We also a reserve parking space if you rent a car.

Note that the property is on a small hill and you will need to take 1 flight of steps to the entrance. Please note if you have any physical limitations with stairs , there are stairs up and down to the condo.

Please note that the building administration has moved to repair/remodel the complex pool & jacuzzi during the months of June & July of 2023. During this time the pool and jacuzzi and pool deck around them will not be accessible to guests. Luckily we are just 3 blocks down from one of the best beaches in the world!

Perfection!

It was ideal! Fantastic location. Super safe and clean. Wonderful pool area with a view and the condo was so nice and quiet. The owners and Omar were wonderful.

Jungle Paradise

Enjoyed my stay here. Very quiet, yet close to all major restaurants and activities. The condo had the greatest atmosphere with subdued lighting and a tree growing out of the balcony floor and a rock wall bedroom. All the comforts of home. The only problem was me…being 70 years “young” there was a large number of steps to navigate on the property and the steep hill to descend to the ocean and the main town…the security guards helped with luggage and getting a taxi. Very much like a mountain retreat. Also, staying off season with the high humidity was oppressive, except early mornings and at night. Luckily, I had a cool place to hunker down at. The owners left clear directives to follow.

Style, comfort with an amazing patio

We stayed in Safari 8 aka "Boys of Summer" for 8 nights. The owners had this unit renovated and styled with high-end touches. This really added to making our stay feel special. Mood lighting, beautiful blackout shades, high-end ceiling fans, and AC. They even provided a standing fan so you can be out on the AMAZING patio during the hot months (which we were). The only challenge was not with the owners or this amazing condo but with VRBO. When I shortened my stay VRBO tried to upcharge the new bill in order to keep the higher taxes and fees for themselves. Nothing at all to do with the owners of this property! Last I cannot say enough of how nice the heated pool was. Surrounded by stunning beautiful gardens, Selva Romantica is a special gated community in PV. While I don't normally choose condo communities it felt like our own little haven away from the festivities of the main hub of Zona Romantica. Great Stay! Gracias
