Built in 2015, well appointed, open air concept, 1 bedroom, 1 bath penthouse condo in the heart of Puerto Vallarta's most sought after neighborhood; Zona Romantica, a gay and family friendly, English speaking area.

Three minutes to Puerto Vallarta's most popular beach; Los Muertos, with no stairs to climb or descend en route. Food and drink service provided under umbrellas on beach. Only two to five minutes to the restaurants, amenities and nightlife of Olas Atlas and Basilio Badillo, yet tucked away at the end of Pilitas; a dead-end, mostly residential, cobble-stoned street.

Minutes to boutique and artisan shopping. Mini-marts, ATMs, convenience stores within a three-minute walk. Ten to fifteen minute taxi ride to marina, commercial centers, golf and eco tourism activities.

Granite countertops, bar and backsplash, stainless steel appliances and tropical parota wood furnishings and built-ins. Local commissioned artwork tastefully adorns the walls. Full-wall glass sliding doors provide an open-air concept inside while multiple plant-lined balconies equipped with grill and table for four allow for cooking and dinning al fresco. Cozy Gem in Prime Location

Loved staying at this fantastic apartment! It has all the amenities that you would need for a short or long term stay, steps away from the beach, bars and restaurants. Host was very responsive and check in/our process was very easy. Would highly recommend!

Nice little spot in the heart of everything zona Romantica

We stayed in the condo for four days, it was very quiet, considering the amount of construction always going on in the area, which was nice! The place was very clean and updated. Of the air, conditioners and plugs in the bathroom worked well. A favorite of mine is that this particular unit is only one floor below the pool area, so it was easy access!

Amazing Stay!

John’s condo was the discovery of a lifetime! It looked just as pictured on VRBO...extremely clean, any and all amenities you would need, great decor. The building was safe and secure with easy access. The neighborhood was so charming, and the location is in walking distance to everything! The pool on the deck was amazing, and we were the only ones up there every day. We cannot wait to return to Casa Tesoro Escondido!

Excellent Condo for 1 or 2 people who want to to be in the middle of everything

I enjoyed my stay in the condo. Pack light since you have your own Washer and Dryer! The rooftop pool and sunbathing area are only a single flight of stairs upstairs...1 min away! Daily maid service is included so you always have a clean condo and bed with fresh sheets after a day of sightseeing. The location is great and very secure. I would stay again for sure.

Second Time to Stay in Condo

Been visiting Vallarta for years and this is the first place I have chosen to return and stay in. That alone should tell you how fantastic it is. I highly recommend it! It's modern, clean, the staff is friendly and you are walking distance to everything. If you want to stay in, there is a rooftop pool, cable TV and fast wireless.

Great location and view

Property was great in general, there were hiccups with the internet and television, the host came by personally to help but we were told it was the cable company that was responsible. In general we loved the apartment with its two balconies, great grill, and roof top pool/ lounge chairs. Location was perfect and cleaning service spot on. Washer and dryer were a huge amenity.

Had a great time at John''s condo. The location was perfect, 2 blocks from the beach and so close to many great restaurants. The condo itself is well equipped with everything from kitchen supplies to towels and necessities for the beach. The view from the condo is amazing but even better from the pool pool deck. I would highly recommend Bell Loma for its location, comfort, view and responsiveness of the owner. I felt as though he really wanted us to have a great experience at his property.

A treasure

Really modern, clean, tastefully decorated by owners with great attention to detail. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of room. The best thing…the view! What a patio and just one floor above a fantastic patio with a negative edge pool. Every night at sunset either from the pool or our patio we watched the sunset. If your familiar with the Zona Romántica your in the the heart of the Zona. If not familiar your in a great neighborhood for restaurants and bars and just 3 blocks to the beach! Lovely owners and very responsive! truly a great property!

Wonderful Condo for 2

We really enjoyed our week in Casa Tesoro Escondido. The space was perfect for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the rooftop pool-deck was a great space to spend some quiet time, and John was very responsive to any issues and questions. Our check in and check out were easy and smooth. The neighbourhood is generally quiet, and the roosters and donkey add an interesting country feel to the city vibe. There is a highway nearby, but anyone who has been to Puerto Vallarta knows that it's impossible to get away from traffic noise and the highway was a relatively innocuous distraction. We would definitely book with John again and Casa Tesoro Escondido would be at the top of our list.

Friendly condo

We had a fabulous time staying here! Walkable Location- super quick to get to Los Muertos beach, which is key. I've stayed in other locations even within the romantic zone and it can be a death march back on hot afternoons. Many great restaurants close by and safe to walk to at night. Other parts of town that once seemed to burn brighter were dark and a little intimidating most likely due to the hard times of the pandemic. I was thankful for our well lit, quiet street. In addition, had great experiences with Uber (put in Jorge's from the airport) and Uber Eats, so good location for these services as well. Great light- The open kitchen/balcony were our favorite. We loved opening the doors and letting the sun and breeze drench the main area. The natural light is great here. Pool Area- We loved chilling on the rooftop in the late afternoons. Comfortable seating, beautiful plants, great tile work. It was a great respite after coming off of the beach. John was always an email away. We can't wait to come back!

Stepping into it in the middle of summer was like getting in your car thats had the windows rolled up sitting in the blazing sun. It would be a nice consideration to have the unit cooled down for guests immediate comfort. Had to work my way thru turning on the A/C then evacuate to the pool, even tho I would have rather taking a short nap after a long day of travel.Over all I would rent again as the price and location is great.

Great stay at Bella Loma 404

The week started off with a couple of problems with the phone and tv but Charlotte was very responsive and had the issues resolved in a timely manner. We were very impressed with the quick response to any of our questions.The unit is small but has everything you need including the washer and dryer. Cleaning service every other day was greatly appreciated. The location is perfect for walking to the beach and all the restaurants and bars in town. There are a few small grocery stores within a short walk and Charlotte told us about a lady selling fresh fruit on Basilio Badillo. A great week overall

Worst VRBO Experience

Checkin to the unit was a self-checkin and went smoothly. We received an email a couple days in advance with door codes as well as instructions and info for maid cleaning schedule. The host contact, Charlotte, noted in the email that the maid staff worked hard and it was typical to tip them 3-5USD per cleaning. Maid service would occur every other day Charlotte also mentioned in the email that the maids would refill toiletries, toilet paper, towels, and fill the water jug in the fridge. The good: -The unit is in close walking distamce to everything in ZR, while still being quiet. The bad: -The bedroom has an AC unit that is old and doesn't work well. -The matress and pillows in the bedroom are very hard and we didnt sleep well. -Last and worst of all was the passive aggressive maids and host that accused us of scratching the fridge (we didn't. The maids did) and left no toilet paper and threw their dirty cleaning cloths on top of our laundry in the washer. I believe they did all of this because we forgot to leave a tip on the Monday before they came in to clean. On our check out I did leave 170 pesos ($8.40USD) for the maids. Two days after we checked out, I received an email from Charlotte, the host, accusing us of scratching the fridge and applying a $100USD fee on my credit card to help cover the cost of a replacement fridge door. Again, we didn't scratch the fridge the maids did. Total scam. AVOID. I believe they did all of t

Home in Paradise

We stayed at Casa Tesoro Esondido for 2 weeks. The apartment was perfect. They view was amazing and is exactly what is in the pictures. It’s in a great location and easy to get around. The kitchen was just right and had enough to enjoy breakfast on the terrace. The roof deck pool had even better views. Many times we thought it was our own private pool! The friendly cleaning lady was a surprise. We will be back next yesr! Thank you for sharing your wonderful place!!

Perfect Location

Beautiful, clean and great communication with the host. They provided very detailed instructions that were necessary. Close to everything you need and want in Puerto Vallarta. The elevator was down for one day but it was working the next. Gorgeous rooftop pool is one floor above. Washer and dryer was nice! Unfortunately the fire stick didn’t work in the bedroom but we watched Netflix in the living room to relax before bed. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful

Very nice condo in the Romantic Zone. Functional kitchen: note that no condiments or pantry items of any kind are provided, not even salt. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels/linens. Washer/dryer worked well. Nice view from balcony or rooftop. For those with mobility issues, note that the elevator does not go to the rooftop - you must climb a flight of spiral stairs (no handrail) to access the pool deck. Also, the neighbourhood is fairly hilly - sidewalks are steep in some places. On the plus side, cabs can be easily gotten 1/2 block away. Owner was responsive when we had an issue - problem resolved quickly. Maid service was very good. Overall the maintenance of the condo is excellent - everything worked properly. We would definitely consider renting this property again in the future.

My wife and I are from Portland, Maine. I first discovered Puerto Vallarta by accident at age 18 while on vacation in Mexico City when we decided to take an overnight bus trip adventure to the coast. Upon landing in Puerto Vallarta I instantly fell in love with it. Later I was fortunate enough to be able to return with my wife. We booked a condo in Zona Romantica, very near to Casa Tesoro Escondido (Hidden Gem), and never looked back. Year after year we returned, addicted to the beauty and amenities of PV. Finally in 2013 we decided to buy. We eventually discovered a great pre-construction opportunity at Bella Loma. We oversaw construction and meticulously applied years of personal experience renting in the area and previous professional experience in rentals, construction and real estate in Maine to create a wonderful home and superior rental experience. We currently visit our home in paradise two to three times a year. We hope you will enjoy Casa Tesoro Escondido as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Casa Tesoro Escondido is centrally located to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife that Puerto Vallarta is famous for, yet all the while tucked away at the terminus of a very quiet and peaceful dead end, residential street. As we purchased pre-construction we were able to design the finishes and furnishings to the highest quality.

What makes this property unique

Bella Loma is a smaller condo association with only 17 units. This allows for the amenities of a condo, with a bit more privacy. Typically there will only be one or two other guests on the pool deck. It has a friendly and family run feel. Built in 2015 it has modern amenities and feel but at a much greater value than other new condo developments in the area. The location is optimal, tucked away at the terminus of a dead end only 2.5 blocks to one of Vallarta's most popular beaches, Los Muertos, only one block to Olas Altas shopping and European styled cafes and bars and only minutes to restaurant row on Baslio Badillo and the boardwalk and Downtown.
