Lovely property on the Severn River. Immaculately clean, everything you could need in the kitchen, and a comfortable living room. The highlight of the wee was the deck overlooking the river. We spent the entire time we were there on the deck. The space was private and quiet. Plus we were entertained by some of the boats that came through the canal. It was as accessible as advertised so the 90 yr old with us had no trouble getting around and enjoying himself. He loved the barrier free bathroom. Washago is a very quick trip (8km) away for any shopping needs.

Coming from a developmental services background, it is so hard to find a place to stay that is FULLY accessible for our clients to enjoy some R&R without any barriers. This place is all that and more. Large deck accessible with ramp, accessible docks, accessible shower, wide hallways, easy reach counters, portable hoyer on site, a sling if needed, care supplies if needed… it felt as if we picked up the group home and moved it to the Severn for the week. We cannot say enough positive notes about this home. Thank you :)

We have had our share of challenges. My boys and I love it at the cottage and are planning to travel. I love that wheelchair users can use our cottage; we know how hard this type of accessibility is hard to find!

It is a private road, quiet with wonderful neighbours. The dogs on the street are super sweet and friendly.
