This was a troubling experience. Unfortunately a family member had emergency surgery and I needed a safe place for my father to stay while visiting them in the hospital during recovery. I found this listing and it seemed like a good solution so I booked it for a week at the last minute.On check-in day, I went with my father to ensure he was comfortable. As we got close to the rental, we were surprised to see the residential area suddenly resemble more of a low-end commercial district, with strip malls housing smoke shops and unseemly other businesses and a lot of traffic. Transient-looking characters were suddenly wandering around, with unclear purposes. Right in that mix—literally next to a dirty strip mall, was this rental. There was no way I would be comfortable leaving my elderly father in such an area, which seemed far from safe due to the people, places and fast-moving cars just steps from the rental. I immediately contacted VRBO, telling them that the rental felt too dangerous and ill-equipped for my needs. I was put in touch with the management company that ran the property and asked for a cancellation for all or even a part of my rental. After two days of back and forth, I was told that they would not be able to help me at all and that I was stuck with a close to 1400 bill for a rental that my father didn’t sleep one night in. Bad business people and, in my humble opinion, bad humans.

Our property is located in a highly desirable, well-established, and safe residential community where home values are exceptionally strong. While we are situated within convenient walking distance to local businesses, shops, and restaurants for our guests' enjoyment, our location is safe and welcoming for travelers of all ages. Because the property was fully prepared and held exclusively for your week-long reservation, blocking other families from booking, we did enforce our standard cancellation policy. We always strive to provide an excellent experience and wish your family the very best.

All the rooms were very clean, the host was very friendly and pleasant and the place was very neat and all necessary items were there, I highly recommend this place to anyone, shops were also very near.
