This was an efficiency lodging. Exterior grounds were under construction, but the interior was clean and very affordable. Shutters on the windows are metal, so when closed, little ambient light is allowed in, but this is a security feature. We enjoyed this as a result of the inexpensive price and proximity to the airport.

We chose this place based upon location next to the airport with a morning departure and not wanting to cab all the way from Belize city amongst congestion and traffic. The accommodations were more than adequate with well thought out extras like complimentary refrigerated bottled water, bandages, anti-septic, coffee, sundries, hairdryer, etc. Lots of cool/cold air conditioning! Comfy bed. Great privacy. Across the street from a park with lit basketball court.But, without a doubt, the number one best thing was the awesome hospitality of the host, Lizbeth, who provided amazing service and transport to and from the airport, as well as Belize city - dependable, reliable, informative, and genuinely friendly and wanting to be as helpful as possible! 5 stars for her, and 5 stars for a nearby local restaurant that she provided free transportation back and forth! PS. Lizbeth and most people speak flawless English.
