About this property
Granby Mountain | Forest Views, Hot Tub & Fire Pit
Wander Granby Mountain (also called Mountain Haus) is a secluded alpine escape set on 4.5 acres of pristine wilderness, where modern design meets the serenity of the Colorado mountains. Tucked among aspen groves and open skies, the home blends clean architectural lines with natural textures, all framed by panoramic views of the Continental Divide and Rocky Mountain National Park. Inside, a sleek indoor fireplace adds warmth and ambiance to the vaulted living space, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. Outside, a firepit invites evening gatherings beneath the stars, while the private hot tub offers a restorative soak with forest views. The expansive deck is thoughtfully outfitted with comfortable lounge furniture, an al fresco dining area, and a BBQ setup ideal for hosting, grilling, or simply enjoying the mountain air.
Perfectly situated near Granby Ranch Ski Resort in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, this location offers effortless access to year-round adventure. From skiing and snowboarding in winter to hiking and mountain biking in summer, every season brings something new to explore. Just minutes away, Lake Granby invites fishing, kayaking, and boating against a breathtaking alpine backdrop. Historic Grand Lake and the iconic Rocky Mountain National Park are also close by, making this an ideal home base for discovering the best of Colorado’s natural beauty.
SECURITY
The property does have a few exterior cameras in place: one on the porch above the hot tub (not pointed at it), one facing the driveway as you pull up to the home, and one facing out toward the front of the home. There are no cameras inside your Wander home.
HOT TUB USAGE
While we do not ordinarily charge for hot tub usage, the hot tub at Wander Granby Mountain is significantly larger than standard and requires substantial power to heat and maintain optimal temperatures.
To help offset the increased energy costs associated with its use, there is a $75 per day hot tub usage fee for this home. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you enjoy this amenity during your stay.
NO AC
This home does not have air conditioning. It was designed with natural ventilation, including large windows and cross-breezes that help keep the interior cool even during the hottest parts of summer. This is an intentional part of the architecture, meant to maintain a connection with the surrounding environment.
Radiant heating is available and provides consistent, even warmth throughout the home whenever needed.
WILDFIRE WARNING
A high fire restriction is currently in effect in the area. Use of the fire pit is not permitted at this time to prevent any risk of wildfire.
WILDLIFE WARNING
Please be aware that wildlife populations including black bears and moose are particularly high in the area, and we kindly remind families to keep a close eye on children, avoid leaving food outside (including residue in the grill and fire), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed.
PETS ALLOWED
This home is pet friendly, and we're happy to welcome your furry companions during your stay. We allow a maximum of two pets per reservation, with a flat pet fee of $350 total, regardless of whether you bring one or two pets. To adhere to the "Good Neighbor Policy," please remember to keep your dogs on a leash when outdoors, and don't forget to clean up their waste. Pets are strictly prohibited in beds, indoor or outdoor furniture, or spa facilities.
