Our stay at Where Trails Meet Lake Tranquility was top notch! The home was very nicely appointed and decorated. All amenities provided were in excellent like new condition. Lots of cool appliances! The rental was immaculate and clean. The owner provided a plethora of resources from tear off maps of the area ( very cleaver) , nearby restaurant locations and menus, local activities and much more. This VBRO rental was one of the best we have stayed at. If we are ever in the area of Nanaimo again, we will definitely rebook.

I’m a retired care-aide who moved to Nanaimo four years ago and fell in love with this neighborhood mainly because my grandchildren live near by. I love watching them grow up near the lake and spending time outdoors, exploring trails, parks, and the natural beauty of the area. I also enjoy hosting guests and creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.

In my free time, I enjoy nature walks, cooking and baking, experimenting with new recipes, and sharing treats with family and friends. I also enjoy knitting, a relaxing hobby that lets me be creative and unwind.

Hosting allows me to combine my love of people, nature, and cozy home comforts. I take pride in providing a clean, comfortable, and inviting space where guests can relax, explore, and enjoy the beauty of the area.
