A 1.5 hour drive to unique Victoria, the Capital City and a 3 hour drive to Tofino, "A town at the end of the road on Vancouver Island" with it's lush rainforests, amazing hiking and breathtaking beaches, perfect for surfing and beachcombing.

Great little private house close to downtown. Very clean, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds (even the sofa bed). Great communication from the host before checking in. A family of 4 with 2 cats so pet allowance was great. Played some of the provided board games which was nice. Couple minute drive to downtown was a big reason for choosing the property and it didn’t disappoint. Recommended if wanting a larger private location close to downtown.

The place was great, amazing space and great parking. Only down side we found that it was very loud with street traffic, as the bedroom are a front of house by the busy streets. Host was very good with comunicating with us before check in and helped accommodate us with ealry check in.

This property was very clean and well-stocked. Our host even asked what types of condiments and coffee we preferred and accommodated us. The fenced yard worked well with our small dog, making daytime/nighttime outings very convenient.The property is close to all amenities by car. A beautiful park on the downtown harbour, was ideal for daily walks, and was a couple of kilometers away. Additionally, SIPS, a nearby pub, offers a great happy hour and some of the best quality hot wings we've had in a long time. There are many other things to do in the area, such as parks for walking the dog and restaurants.We enjoyed our stay.Light sleepers should note that there is a fair amount of road noise at night from the near proximity to the Trans Canada Highway and a nearby traffic light.

My family of 4 loved staying here! There's a good selection of games provided and playing together as a family at the end of the day is one of my favorite memories of our trip.

Nice place for our stay!

A beautiful apartment where we felt very comfortable. Good basic amenities—some larger bowls would have been helpful. But otherwise, everything is great!

A home away from home

We just spent the weekend at this property with our teen. It was clean, and had all the little extras like games, throw blankets, 2 tvs, multiple pillow types, great shower pressure, and kitchen items like coffee, spices, etc. There is dedicated parking and a small fenced yard. Host was friendly and overall a great stay.

Such a beautiful little house! We can’t say enough. So well appointed, beautiful furnishings - everything we needed. The neighbourhood is down town Nanaimo so there are some derelict buildings and homeless so maybe not the best for an evening stroll but for us it was perfect. Probably the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Thank you so much.

Perfect Home Base!

This home was perfect for our visit from Washington state to a baseball series with the Nanaimo NightOwls. We enjoyed day trips to Campbell River and Tofino along with evening games at the great stadium. EVERYTHING we needed in the kitchen and beyond - very thoughtfully furnished. Sure hope we can visit again!

Thanks for Thanksgiving stay

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely modern and spotless home. Waking up and having our own place for coffee and relaxing before the hectic family holiday time was perfect. Great use of space and more than enough of everything, no shortage of towels and the place is so comfy. Even our dog was completely relaxed in the new setting.

All the necessities of home

This property met or exceeded our expectations. The overall cleanliness was remarkable. Temperature control was 100% at our discretion. The bedrooms had plenty of space to store empty suitcases. Closets space was ample. The pillow options were varied to please most preferences. An assortment of blankets capped off both bedrooms. Beds were nice and firm with a forgiving topper. The bathroom was equipped with all the towels you could want or need. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. There was not only a hair dryer but also a hair straightener. The convenience of the washer and dryer was a godsend for us as we had been on the road for over a week by the time we arrived. All kitchen appliances and accessories were in excellent condition. We were very pleased when we found an ample supply of coffee for a keurig or drip coffee makers. A completely fenced backyard gave us peace of mind when our dog needed to go outside. In conclusion, we quickly felt right at home and would recommend this property and would definitely return.
