Newly constructed in 2015, the coach house offers spacious, fully furnished accommodations with one bedroom, a hide a bed and all modern facilities including laundry and internet plus cable tv. This suite is lovely - well appointed, comfortable and tastefully decorated, kitchen well equipped, linens of excellent quality. The location is very central, providing easy access to the Island Highway, Departure Bay Ferry and downtown Nanaimo. A grocery, liquor and hardware store as well as a bank are within walking distance. The hosts are very gracious, kind and most considerate. A real gem of a place to stay that we hope to visit again.

Overall I had excellent stay at the new Coach House. However, I would suggest the bottom of bath tub needs an anti-slip coating, or a handrail, and found the shower head too high and no adjustment.Thank you!

This place is a gem! I stayed for two weeks in March, 2026. The unit is spotlessly clean. The owner has provided everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. There was even a bottle of distilled water for my CPAP machine!! The kitchen is well equipped. The weather was cold when I visited, so it was great that I could control the heat to make the unit nice and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. Big windows and excellent lighting are a huge plus. The host is very responsive and really wants you to have a great stay. I will be back for sure!
