Situated in picturesque Alpine setting, a short stroll from lake Middleton and Lake Ohau and just 25 mins drive to the SkiFeild car park. Also on the Alps to Ocean cycle trail.
The recently built Rusty Shed is equipt with everything you need call in, charge your bike, cook a meal and relax in one of nzs hidden gems.
Head out for day walks of which there are many in the area, spend the day on the lake chasing salmon or wake boarding, stroll the village at night under the stars, or simply roll the doors up and read a book in the sun.

Kitchenette comes loaded with all you need to prepare meals. Cook tops x2, small oven, slow cooker, airfryer, coffee machine, toastie maker, bbq out back.

Comfortable sleeps our family of 5, note the 36m2 sleeping loft is accessed by a well built but steep loft ladder and may not suitable for elderly and very young.

No frills accommodation but certainly comfortable and had everything we needed. Steep ladder up to the bedroom loft (we’re seniors!) but we managed it carefully. No tv but we didn’t mind. Amazing starry night each night of our stay. Close to the A2O bike trail where we biked from our accommodation towards Twizel, Great communication from host. Thank you.

We are a family of 5 from Dunedin. We built the shed as our sleeping quarters while we plan the future house build on the same site. We have set it up to be a very comfortable amd warm sleep out.

Why they chose this property

Stunning location off the main road. We love that 99 percent of travelers barrel on past to central otago not knowing that tucked away just 17km off the main road is a secluded haven. All the beauty with out the crowds. Ski feild is a unique balance between commercial and club feild that has an old school hospitality approach. There's not another feild quite like it in Nz.

What makes this property unique

We have a nice lil batch, not a mansion.
A space where you read, play cards and boardgames like we use to before all the screens arrived.
