About this property
Rustic Muskoka Lakeside Retreat: 7BR Cottage with Stunning Views & Private Dock
Authentic Muskoka Cottage Experience – Sleeps 13
This is the real deal for cottaging, a rustic cottager’s cottage on stunning Lake Muskoka, not a polished resort. A 1960's cottage with an addition built in the early 2000s. With 200 feet of south-facing frontage and two gorgeous patios, you’ll soak up all-day sun & swimming while enjoying the peaceful rhythm of lake life.
This spacious retreat sleeps up to 13 guests across 7 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The layout is perfect for multi-generational families or groups.
Room to Roam & Relax:
- 2 Incredible Patios: off the main floor with space to lounge and dine, and on the roof of the boathouse there is comfortable seating for lounging and enjoying the sun. Both have a stunning view of the lake.
- Main Floor: Two single bedrooms and a loft with a queen bed
- Private Suite Addition: Queen bed, kitchenette, full bath, and a small office – ideal for grandparents or anyone seeking a little quiet
- Lower Level: Three bedrooms – one with a double bed, one with a queen, and one with both a queen and a single bed
- Kitchen & Dining Room: dishes and cookware, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, and a full dining table
- Sunroom: board games, TV, and wood-burning fireplace
- Living Room: spectacular view, wood-burning fireplace
Lake Life Essentials:
Enjoy the included kayak and canoe, or bring your own boat – there’s space for one in the boathouse. Whether you're paddling at sunrise or lounging on the rooftop deck with a book, this cottage offers the perfect backdrop for unplugged family time.
Good to Know:
- Full laundry facilities available
- Newly installed dishwasher (2025)
- Water is not potable – a water cooler system is available
- No air conditioning – embrace the breeze and the cottage charm (and there is a fan in every room for additional air flow)
No frills, just fresh air, lake views, and the kind of memories that stick.
