Direct Ocean Front...In The Middle of it All!!!

Top-floor unit in Decatur House. Direct ocean front unit with miles of unobstructed ocean/beach views. Sleeps up to 4 guests (3 adults max), with two full-size beds in bedroom, and queen-size sleeper sofa in living room. There is a full kitchen with oven/range, dishwasher & microwave. There is also a stack washer & dryer for your laundry needs.

5th-floor elevation. Close enough for people-watching, yet far enough above for private, peaceful enjoyment of your view. And what a view it is! The beach, the boats & the boardwalk...all for your enjoyment!

Building has an indoor pool. ***NOTE: POOL IS OPEN MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND THRU SEPTEMBER ONLY. POOL IS NOT HEATED***. Reserved parking space close to building and elevator. Just park your car for the week and go! Everything is within a short walk.

The building has storefronts on the first floor, including pizza, sundries and a Subway. There are multiple restaurants, shopping & nightlife options within 3 blocks of the building.

Our stay at the condo was made easy by the extras that are usually overlooked by many for instance the beach toys and chairs and the games for rainy days were all made accessible to us. My best friend came out from Kentucky to spend the holiday weekend. Neither of us had been to OC in YEARS. The weather was perfect. The home was in a PERFECT location! Great to be able to walk right out to the boardwalk and the beach. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great time and stay. So much to do and the food at the restaurants was fabulous. The only thing we didn't like was the cold indoor pool. It would have been great to use the pool if it was heated.

The property was on the boardwalk with ocean views and a lot of food choices to choose from. The only negative about the property was the mattress on the sleeper sofa was like sleeping on springs. I know sleeper sofas are not typically comfortable anyway but would have been nice to have a foam topperhavfoam topper

Very peaceful and the view was great. There isn’t an easy access for handicap people. The stairs into the place are really high. Other guests made the same comment about the steps into the condo building. The pool was closed for the fall season. That was okay. Otherwise we had a nice stay.

Right where we needed to be

We chose this place because we had music fest tickets. We were able to walk down to the music festival and come back easily. We parked the car and walked to every place we needed to go to. The owner was extremely helpful and available for us and communicated with us prior to our arrival. The condo was a good size for the two of us. We could hear the ocean clearly and the boardwalk noise was very low. I will be looking to book at some point next year.

nice location

once i was in i was ok. not sure how everything worked on getting in place. it was our first time with using vrbo. it went ok. i just made call and everything was good. pool was not open and this is why i booked with them. it was dirty in pool and not open. elevator got stuck on third floor for a time. only regular electric outlets no where to charge phone like lamp. we took our own outlets but be careful. over all not bad but could be better.

Awesome place.

Although the Decatur House is older, the owner has made it comfortable and inviting. The location and access is great for the traveler that is looking for ocean views and close dining. Only the weather (cold) was a let-down but that is no reflection on the condo.

I was born & raised in Pennsylvania, and live with my wife & 3 kids just north of Philadelphia, in Bucks County. My family has been vacationing in Ocean City for decades, so it was a natural fit for me to buy & manage rental properties here, which I have done for 15 years.

Why they chose this property

It is truly in Ocean City's best area. The boardwalk area has always provided the most activities, dining & entertainment options in all of Ocean City. And this part of the boardwalk is ideal for staying, because it sits in the sweet spot - away from the crazy inlet area, with it's amusement piers & attractions for kids. It's also away from the quiet northern end, which is mostly residential in nature. Guests really have the best of everything at 12th Street - the beach, the boardwalk & plenty of places for the whole family within an easy walk.

What makes this property unique

The ocean front location is definitely a stand-out. But being situated on the boardwalk, makeS my condo REALLY stand out! Guests can walk along the beach, without getting sand in your shoes.

In most other ocean front condos in Ocean City, you have to get in your car, or hop on the bus to get to restaurants or activities. Not the case here. Everything is an easy walk. There is no need to drive once you get here. It's truly Park & Go!
