Great location and worked well for us

Check in was super easy. Kitchen is little with a few appliances and full size refrigerator. Coffee maker and Keurig with pods available. No wine glasses and only a few coffee cupsSo plan ahead. Bedrooms were nice size, but condition of upstairs carpeting and bathrooms were in need of some updates. Porch was nice to sit on but outside chairs by fire pit need work. They are in rough condition. All in all, we had a great time and the Inn worked for our weekend needs. Reminded us of grandmas house as far as condition and smell. We aren’t a Fussy family so the positive outweighed any negatives. We would stay there again if the opportunity came up. The property is beautiful and we liked being able to bring our boat and to walk next door to the restaurant for dinner and relax on the lawn and fire pit.

Great Family Getaway!

Great stay, great views, perfect atmosphere for a family getaway, but the property could use a little bit of TLC. The property manager and staff were very attentive and took care of any request that came up. Food at the restaurant next-door was very good and the pool was wonderful. We will be back!

Weekend Wedding Getaway

We stayed at the inn for a wedding weekend and had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful, right on the lake and perfect for evening walks. The house is clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed all of the board games! Really enjoyed drinking coffee outside in the mornings.

Post COVID Reunion

What a happy place to reunite after a year and see family members in such an idyllic spot. Owner was great in extending an extra night’s stay at a later date b/c the pool was ready to open as advertised—shows the hospitality and level of accomodation you can expect. Take a boat ride to the sand bar/barrier reef and hang for part of the day. Fisherperson’s delight. We sang fireside and played Candyland. Not having a TV was a plus not a minus. We loved it. The first night staying there, there was no hot water. Come to find out the next day that there was an issue with the hot water tank. There is a fridge, portable stove top, and toaster oven but all plugged in to the same power strip so it is very easy to trip the breaker when making breakfast. Majority of the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms do not close easily or at all to where you have to slam them. AC units look as though they were never cleaned, and just left in the windows year long. Access to the pool and hot tub are not private, and under time frame of 9am-9pm.... Which should absolutely be disclosed prior to reserving. And that they are both public access, located behind a restaurant. Left us a bit uncomfortable and at the mercy of strangers children throwing and splashing. No clear instructions on what to do or where to put garbage, towels, etc. Check out being at 10am instead of 11am like most places. Cooking utensils were not fully cleaned from prior use/tenants in the drawer. Limited Internet use, when some enjoy shows or movies together on vacation. Very limited lighting in the dining area as well made it tricky to see and play board games. One friend remarked on finding mold on a towel found folded in their room. They also mentioned the twin beds were actually the size of singles and not specified with accurate description in listing. Absolutely not worth 1,500.00 for two nights. Arguably, the experience should've only costed 850.
