This was our second stay at this property and again it didn’t disappoint. We will be booking again in the future as it is perfect to accommodate our family.
The farm house was a perfct location to stay for our son's wedding. It was clean, had a full kitchen and was in a great location to walk downtown. Communication with the host was excellent.
This was a great place to stay. You are close to everything and the place was very roomy with large bedrooms for privacy. I would highly recommend staying there. We will definitely consider it as an option if we come back in the fall.
Space was incredibly clean, well supplied and beds/linens were very comfortable. Perfect place to meet and catch up with local family!

Owner was very easy to get in contact with and quick response. Inside of the house was clean but cupboards were cluttered with strange things. Outdoors was a little rough with debris and dirt piles. Beds were comfortable.
Our family stayed at the house so we could all be together for our Mother’s/Grandmother/Gigi 100th birthday gathering instead of individual hotel rooms. It was a nice house with plenty of bedrooms.
Delightfully warm home with all you could want for a comfortable stay. The farmhouse provided plenty of space and very comfortable beds for a good night sleep. The kitchen is well stocked and the wi-fi is reliable and strong. We highly recommend staying at this lovely home.
The house was exceptionally clean. The keyless entry was eady to use. There was a bedroom on the first floor which was wonderful as I have difficulty with stairs. All in all a very pleasant stay.
This was a lovely renovated and updated farm house. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. We were there during a horrible heatwave and the A/C was a delight!! Only item that could be improved is the addition of blackout curtains in at least a few of the bedrooms. The house is white in all rooms and very bright. Take a sleep mask! This is a a lovely home.
We loved our stay at this historic farmhouse in Culpeper. The location was perfect, halfway between Leesburg and Charlottesville and near central Virginia destinations. The listing and photos are accurate. Beds are very comfortable. First floor bedroom worked well for our family. Kitchen very well stocked, we even did some Christmas baking. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and parks. Yard was great for our dog. Recommended for family and friend groups who appreciate historic homes. Culpeper is a destination in itself that we enjoyed. Wonderful hospitality by our host really made us feel at home.
Our host Edward was in contact before we ever arrived at the property and wanted to ensure we received all of our check in instructions and asked if we needed anything else and said he’d be available if we needed anything during our stay. The house was a charming farmhouse that is fully remodeled in Culpeper. Everything was impeccable. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly imagine. I loved all of the antiques and decorations. It’s always nice coming back to your roots after being a Florida girl for so long. The house is a two story home with a full bath and bedroom on the bottom floor which is accommodating to anyone with disabilities. Just thought I’d put that out there. The other three bedrooms and full bathroom are upstairs. All bedrooms have King size beds which is a rare find! I noticed when booking many people had only had complaints over the driveway. The driveway does climb up and there is plenty of room when you pull up to maneuver your vehicle around to face the opposite direction to drive out and not have to back down easily as I was driving a large SUV. Can’t wait book my next stay at Edward’s Farmhouse soon.
Nicely Remodeled & Comfortable But Lacking Some Amenities
Nicely remodeled and decorated older home, which was very clean and had plenty of comfortable seating. Beds were all very comfortable. Appreciated the games that were provided. Parking was ample, although turning around in the parking area (especially with more than one vehicle present) can be tricky, and "backing" out of the drive is a bit dangerous (so turning around is a good idea). Wifi worked well.
There were no bathroom hand towels in the unit (to dry your hands on), only wash cloths and shower towels and some additional hooks for drying towels would be nice. Not having a dresser in every bedroom can make clothing storage challenging for a longer stay. Of the dressers that are present, many of the drawers are already full of linens and such, making them unusable.
There are no closets, but 3 of the 4 bedrooms have portable clothes hanging racks (just not many hangers, so maybe hit a Dollar Tree).
Host was nice enough to deliver an ironing board and iron to the unit, since none were present when we arrived. I assume these will remain in the unit for future guests.
