Perched privately above the rolling green hills, the house overlooks the iconic Stanley 'Nut' and the sparkling waters beyond. The Red Door offers the perfect setting for couples seeking rest and relaxation.
Designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom home offers a modern yet cosy vibe, ideal for curling up after a day exploring the region’s natural beauty. Step outside to your private fire pit and watch the sun go down over the horizon, or stargaze under Tasmania’s night sky.
Located just 10 minutes off the Bass Highway, the property offers easy access to some of the North West’s most spectacular attractions including Stanley, Edge of the World, Dip Falls, and The Big Tree. With unmatched privacy and incredible coastal views, this peaceful escape is the ultimate couples’ getaway in Tasmania.
The peace and tranquility of the property allows you to fully switch off and enjoy yourself. There is no television but if you wish to stream on your own devices, there is wifi available.
Guests will have full, private access to the home, with the exception of a few locked rooms. Enjoy complete privacy throughout your stay.
Check-in is simple and contactless via lockbox, and parking is available at the end of the private driveway.
Please note the property is set along a long private driveway, and you may encounter friendly wildlife such as wallabies and birds nearby. The home is not visible from the road. Detailed directions will be provided upon booking.
For comfort and cleanliness, shoes must be removed inside (it’s easy to bring in wallaby droppings from outside).
Strictly no visitors or parties are permitted. No pets.
An outdoor fire pit is available for cosy evenings under the stars (indoor fireplace not in use).
There is no laundry access and the internal fireplace is not for guest use.
