Old beach house that is located about 10 metres from the water at high tide with parking. The property is well stocked and includes beautiful water views back to Stanley.Unfortunately the property is located approximately about 500 metres from an iron ore pellet plant although it is hidden from site of the beach house.

Thanks so much for your lovely review.
Yes Its amazing wath the mass ships at the end of the mile long jetty which is just 3km to the North East.
We bare notice the pellet plant as its out of sight behind the trees and 90% of the time theres no Sound from there unle the breeze is due East.
Thanks again, Michael. 😃
We always have a wonderful stay at Stanley Views. The view is phenomenal! The house is very comfortable, with everything you might need and more. Five stars! 🌟
As advertised plus more. Lovely 50's beach home right on the water .... beach walks, quiet location. Kitchen has everything you could need and more. Plenty of space for large family. Stunning ensuite.
We were lucky enough to spend a week here over Christmas with our dog Indy.
Whilst the house is of an older style it was immaculate and very comfortable.
The deck is amazing with stunning views.
Everything you could possibly need was supplied.
A secure yard out the back for Indy was a nice surprise and we loved taking her for a daily swim at the beach 80 metres away.
We are definitely looking forward to our next stay here.
Great property, fab. views but away ftom shops and eateries
Very nice property, comfortable with very well appointed kitchen with plenty of kitchen items
One bedtoom has queen plus 2 singles.Singles are bunks ok for kids but adults might struggle with ladder almost in middle. No shops or eateries nearby so need to drive 15km to Stanley or 20km to Smithton

Great Views
This house is in a quiet spot. The owners have half renovated the house, and the renos look great. The downstairs is yet to be renovated, and has a damp problem, but a dehumidifier helps. This will be sorted in the reno. My son loved the pool table downstairs, but watch the roll. The beach and changing scenery out of the picture windows was calming. The neighbour greeted us, and was very helpful. Huge house with lots of room.

Thanks very much Karen, yes normally the downstairs room is just for storage and is locked and not needed or used but with all the accommodation upstairs including three bedrooms, two living rooms, dining, kitchen bathroom, toilet and laundry and our huge new North facing outdoor living area all of which is upstairs. We hope to have new photos of the out door living area added to the Stayz site soon. Thanks once again, Michael and Grace.

Thank God for the view
North west tasmania for the cleanest air in the world! Arrived to be surrounded by obnoxious fumes eminating from a nearby pellet plant. Wind did change direction the following day but the damage had been done. Entered house to the overpowering scent from not one but 3 room deoderisers. What smell was being masked - dead mouse?. Deoderisers ended up outside. House itself was adequate 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Kitchen needs updating. No dishwasher! Notices to say that the water had to be boiled for one minute to be drinkable! Electric blanket, almost obligatory for a tassie winter, just on one of the beds - not mine!!

Thanks Coral, yes it’s rare to have the breeze from that exact direction.
The rain water is fine to drink, it’s just Tasmanian Council requirements for all BNBs that are not on town water to provide the ‘ boil before drinking’ sighn.
There are no mouse smells.
Glad you loved the view, Stanley View Beach House must be just one of a handful of self contained cottages just four meters from the water, and North Facing.
We will purchase extra electric blankets this week :)
Thanks again,
Michael and Grace :)

We booked for 3 nights at Stanley View Beach House last October and paid well in advance. We also received information for where the keys were 3 days before we left NZ.
We were forced to endure a double booking which resulted in tremendous inconvenience (we are in our 80’s). It was extremely disappointing as this was the only 3 night stay and was to be the highlight of our holiday. After 8 hours on the road from Hobart (including major roadworks) we found people in our booked accommodation. The owner had attempted to get in touch at 10.30 but we had no wi-fi or roaming facilities. We spoke to owner on phone and he advised us he had double booked that night and would refund 1 nights accommodation and place us in an alternative sight free of charge.
A situation such as this should not have occurred in this day and age. We had to unpack all our groceries etc. and next day pack them up again and be out by 10 and then hang around for 4 hours (5 with all the packing) until our accomodation was available.
What an amazing property very quiet peaceful relaxing with a fabulous view thank you very much for sharing your home , we really enjoyed sitting on the deck with the warm fire and great sound system .
Outstanding views of Stanley and The Nut, warm and cozy but a large home with two bathrooms and very well equipped kitchen. Fire pot on north facing deck is brilliant. Have stayed before and will return.
We had 2 nights here, it's a great place for one family or a few friends. It's huge, we were surprised at how big it was inside. Lovely views and everything you could want.
Wonderful property, so homely , styled and furnished . Crisp clean linen , amazing bathrooms .
STANLEY VIEW, is an amazing property, right on the shoreline of Bass Straight and looking right across to Stanley . Beautifully clean and presented , every little detail taken care of. We also took our dogs who equally had a wonderful holiday , plenty of beach walks on your doorstep. A fantastic place to stay and make a base whilst exploring the North West Coast of Tasmania. We will be back over summer to enjoy again .
Comfortable and clean, superb view and easy to get to. All mod cons and plenty of rooms. Love this spot and will continue to revisit. 100% thumbs up...
A fantastic beach shack, the house was warm all day from the north facing windows. no need for extra heating. Of a night a lovely fire on the deck overlooking Bass Strait. The Master bedroom and bathroom were very well appointed. Great area for the dogs, plenty of walking on the rocks and beaches. Would definately stay again.
