Surrounded by nature, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat offers peaceful views of wildlife from every room and plenty of space for families or groups to relax and reconnect.

Main Level
Step into the breathtaking great room featuring a soaring 22-foot knotty pine cathedral ceiling, hand-peeled collar ties, and a dramatic floor-to-ceiling window that fills the space with natural light. Cozy up by the corner stone gas fireplace while enjoying the flat-screen TV/DVD. The kitchen includes a working island with seating and opens to a dining area with a table that comfortably seats eight—perfect for meals and game nights. A full-size laundry room adds extra convenience. Just off the great room, you’ll find the large primary bedroom with a King bed. This bedroom and the Queen bedrrom next to it share the hallway full bathroom. Step outside to enjoy the screened-in porch and deck, or unwind on the patio in the private hot tub. The large, level backyard is ideal for kids’ outdoor play and family fun.

Upper Level
The open loft at the top of the stairs overlooks the great room and serves as an additional sitting and sleeping area, complete with a queen sleeper sofa and TV/DVD. The upper level also features a private Queen bedroom with it's own bathroom located in the loft.

We enjoyed the house and it served our needs. The leaves were beautiful. The house was very comfortable.It would have been helpful to have maps or information on where the trails were to.walk to the lake. This was our first trip to the Galena Territory.

A great place to escape the every day hustle and bustle. It was quiet. Very peaceful and serene. No one was using the unit prior to our arrival so the manager let us arrive any time we'd like. No other place has given us that opportunity and we really appreciated it.

Gorgeous Galena Property

This was my first time taking a trip to Galena. I decided to make it a mother-daughter trip. The cabin itself was absolutely gorgeous! The hot tub was a hit as well! It was incredibly peaceful and serene. Downtown was only 10-12 minutes away and we enjoyed exploring, shopping and eating! The property owner was incredibly helpful when questions arose and answered lighting fast! I highly recommend this place and am looking forward to returning for future visits!

Nice property!

My family rented this home in the territories for a reunion along with a neighboring house. Other than a mix up getting the key when we arrived ( which was quickly resolved by the local property manager). This property worked great! It was clean quiet and comfortable. One of the bedrooms was an open loft area but it worked fine for the kids in our group.. The property had great amenities, golf courses and pool facility were very nice. Thanks for making this a great weekend to remember!

Wonderful getaway cabin

We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a friends trip - mom’s weekend away. The cabin was beautiful and clean. We were very pleased with the outdoor space, the hot tub was incredible, and the deck and screened in patio were wonderful spaces to spend time in as well. Easy drive into Galena for dinner. The only complaints we had were there were only 5 full sized bath towels in the entire place (we looked everywhere) and there were 6 of us staying. Also the beds were very uncomfortable. This place would be perfect if it included more towels and replace those beds or add some foam toppers at the very least!

Time away

The house was very nice, well furnished with dishes, towels, kitchen needs, etc. The "trail" to the lake was not "walkable". We were not aware the lake does not allow swimming. One of the toilets did not flush, but after notifying the management, the issue was resolved quickly. We enjoyed the use of the grill and hot tub. The refrigerator water and ice were not connected and there was no notice to that effect. There were conflicting check out times on the internet and the papers at the house.

Bit disappointed

House really some repairs and upgrades. Coffee pot took over 1hr to brew a pot of coffee, Freezer didn’t keep things frozen, upstairs toilet didn’t flush right, shower leaked into downstairs bathroom ceiling when in use. No instructions in house on how to access pool or marina. Very few towels. Was only left with 5 access cards for pool when we had 6 family members, had to pay $5 each time for all 6 of us to go to pool. Communication with homeowner was not good. I left messages with her on wondering what to do with linens when leaving she never replied. Galena was very nice but disappointed with house.

Description of property.

The house is lovely and we used the screen deck and grill and the Wi-Fi was robust and stable. The description of the house is misleading. There are photos of 4 bedrooms even if the written description lists 3. The written description also says that there is a pull out futon and sofa in the living room There is one small futon in the loft but we could not determine that the sofa or love seat pull out or recline. We had 5 individuals and were counting on the pull out bed. No information left in the house, except for garbage. No directions for the hot tub, how to use the amenities (pool, restaurant, etc) at the resort, where to find extra linens, what to do with the dirty linens, etc. accurate and more complete information would improve the experience of staying at this house.
