This was one of the best experiences we have had with properties at Folly Beach.The communication from the host was frequent and easy! We loved the location proximity to the beach and the property was delightful! It felt cozy and private and we felt at home. I would 100% recommend and we will be staying here again!!! This was one of our best experiences.

During our stay we had an issue with fruit flies/gnats. They were swarming around with no known source, the only food we had was bottled drinks, granola, and pretzels. They seemed to find their way into the fridge and freezer where I’d have to clean them out. It was very frustrating. There’s also a very strong musty smell, almost like cigarettes/cigars. My guess is the AC units (mini splits) need to be cleaned or a previous guest smoked inside. My clothes ended up absorbing the smell, which was unpleasant. The main bathroom vent wasn’t working and there’s signs of mold in the shower. But I will say, the place is in a great location with close proximity to the beach and short drive to shopping and restaurants.

As noted in the pre-arrival guest information, we do not have access to the mailbox and guests should not have personal items delivered there. We regret any frustration, but this was outside our control.
