We enjoyed our time there the only thing that would have made it better is the access to the beach. My husband is semi handicap and could not make it down the bank. And it would be so easy for them to make steps for easy access. Otherwise hosts and cabin was excellent.

This place was rustic but cozy. The location was absolutely perfect and having the ocean right outside the window was fabulous. The sunrises were spectacular. The beaches were all but deserted…of three days of walking on the beach for hours we only saw one other person the whole time. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding lovely. This is a very old cabin that has been partially renovated and seems it’s still in the midst of some renovations. The only complaint I have was with the plumbing. The water pressure was pretty poor, and the bathroom, which I believe was an add on to the building after the fact, was pretty rough. There was often a foul smell coming out of the drains in there. The shower is very rustic, and the water pressure in the sinks was just a trickle.I understand that due to the remoteness of the island that some fixes may be tougher than others. All in all, we really did enjoy our stay and can look past the shortcomings when you are surrounded by such beauty.

The host was wonderful and everything was very smooth. They went to extra effort to ensure that we had all our needs met during our stay. The cabin is lovely and charming and right on the shore as shown. Please be aware that the access to the shore may not be for everyone. It created no difficulties for us and we are a couple of 71 years of age. However, it should be noted that someone who has a difficulty with walking, may not be able to access the shore directly from the cabin. There are other access points up and down the shore within a very short drive. There is a lovely little café that is also a general store and also allows for Wi-Fi on your phone so it can be accessed while in the car as well. There is Wi-Fi in the cottage and everything works smoothly as well as the wood stove, which kept us very warm and cosy along with a couple of small Hydro heaters. We both highly recommend this place to stay well in the islands. We hope to come back.
