This is a wonderful, well-organized place for relaxation, fishing and enjoying nature. Beatiful clean house. Check-in, check-out and communication with the owner are easy and convenient. Definitely, we will keep nice impression of our getaway.
What an incredible place James has and so kind of him to offer it out to rent. I hosted friends from New York here and everyone was completely mindblown by its beauty and all the amenities. Not to mention James was readily available for any questions we had. We will definitely be bookmarking this spot as a must-stay whenever in the area.
This lake home was just what we needed to feel home away from home. Perfect appointments for lake living and fun/nature. We fished, we puzzled, we cooked and we ate. It was wonderful. Host was extremely responsive and provided clear instructions for use of all cabin amenities.
This cabin is so beautiful! Perfect amount of space, wonderful scenery, lots of wildlife watching (birds, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks), amazing lake views, fishing was great off the dock... This cabin has everything we needed and more, we had such a great time! Fire heated hot tub and sauna was an added bonus. We will definitely try to stay again!
We had a great time fishing the flowage and Lake Vermillion. Spent time kayaking and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Feed the wild life, some by hand. Overall great week fishing and family time.
The cabin was spacious, clean, and secluded. The canoe, paddleboard and kayaks offered fun on the quiet Pike River Flowage. We saw a beaver off the dock, and enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub overlooking the lake. The host was available and helpful. We had twelve in our party and everyone slept comfortably. We enjoyed the sauna and wood fireplace as well. It was a great spot for a family vacation.
Cabin was clean and nicely furnished and James was very workable on renting us his pontoon boat which we also enjoyed. Fishing was a bit disappointing but had a weather front just before our stay and that likely had a negative effect on it. Did enjoy our stay!
We booked this stay for some late season snowmobiling. The home is perfect for a large group. The sauna was a plus after a day of riding. The driveway crosses the state snowmobile trail. It is very convienient.
