About this property

Sleeps 3 - 4 - 200m from beach

Peaceful ... with your own space and a rural outlook. You can hear the waves on the beach.
17 minutes from the city center, and if you need transport to an event, we can do that too.
And just so you don't have to think about it on the first morning of your stay with us.... we provide the makings of a light breakfast....fruit, bread, cereals, porridge, jam, peanut butter and milk...plus all the usual suspects..tea, coffee.

Two Bedrooms - One with a Queen size Bed, Second with a single Bed.
The couch folds down into a bed too if needed.... not as comfortable as the other beds tho :)

2 night minimum stay .............

If you would like to bring a pet please contact us to confirm.
Pets MUST be fully house trained. Also Vaccinated, wormed and flea treated.
An additional cleaning charge of $20 per night applies.

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was very clean and fit for purpose. Loved that we could take our dog and she was made very welcome also.

The tiny houses we stayed in was clean and tidy, *The host was friendly and helpful *The location Brighton Beach *It was comfortable off the street tiny house making it dark when the lights go out, with no street light pollution

The host was very accommodating. Provided extra blankets and heating as it was a cold weekend. The little things were impressive like the breakfast items left - included bread, butter, jam, oatmeal, cereal, milk and fruit which was much appreciated. The fact that we could bring our dog Zuko was a bonus. The accommodation was very clean and well presented.I feel the price was a little high for the accommodation it felt small and pokey, especially the bathroom which ran out of hot water after 1.5 showers. The building would move when walking around so it felt like being on a ship at times. I think this was because the accommodation is a folding container from China.

Why they chose this property

We are in a peaceful area .... wake up in the morning to a wonderful birdsong. including Tui. The beach is literally 200m away .... and 200m in the opposite direction is an estuary with an abundance of waterfowl to enjoy.
We are only 9 minutes by car from our local shopping centre ...and only 18 minutes from the centre of Dunedin city.

What makes this property unique

Each cottage is fully self contained ... 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living area. Clothes washing and drying facilites are available too. Looking out the large living area window you will see trees and bush (some gorse too) ... but not houses. 😁
