NEW ADDITION! This cute and cheerful Sea Isle hideaway is perfectly sized for beach days, sunset strolls, and slow mornings that smell like salt air and coffee. Inside, it’s bright, breezy, and easygoing. Outside, it’s gets even better with kiddo and pup-friendly fenced yard and garage bar hangout with a second refrigerator, so cold drinks are always within arm’s reach and snack runs stay optional. Consider it your land-based version of a beachside grotto.

The Neighborhood:
Sea Isle is a beautiful community, located about 12 miles from Galveston's seawall, often referenced as the West End. It has that laid back beach flavor perfect for your getaway. One of the popular neighborhood hot spots is the West End Restaurant & Marina which frequently offers live music, plenty of tvs airing different sporting events/games, good food, and tasty cold beverages. There is also access to the public beaches (3), boat ramp, marina, park, basketball courts, seasonal swimming pool (Sea Isle POA charges $100/week for amenity pass, available from the office during normal business hours, with advanced notice by 979's staff, Memorial Day through Labor Day, subject to change) and tennis courts, so guests get an opportunity to experience the benefits of both the Gulf and Bay sides of the island.
The Sea Isle community offers a small convenience store by the Marina, Sea Isle Supermarket, located on Termini-San Luis Pass at Nueces Drive. Heading back towards Galveston and just before Jamaica Beach is a Chevron convenience store, Seven Seas Grocery if you need extra items or forgot something while in town. Also, you'll find in Jamaica Beach, West Grill & Pizzeria, Buck’s West, Shrimp & Stuff Food Truck then Dollar General, Waterman’s Restaurant, Hummel’s Convenience Store & Deli, Mario’s Pizza, Woody’s Bar, Lucky Way Food, Gas & Liquor Store, Seahorse Grill and Jack’s Pub before you get to Galveston's seawall.

Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!
979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.

Our dog loved the beach and the entire community was very welcoming of pets. The house worked out perfectly. Would have been nice to check-in earlier than 4pm.

We love the house, amenities, location! My spouse and I have stayed before, and it worked perfect to bring our two teen grandsons this stay...they loved it!
Check in was seamless and fast, house was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed and then some. Location is fantastic, easy access to beach, pier, marina and food. Highly recommend.
We we overall very impressed with the accommodations. Very clean and everything we needed. Christi and Cory were a delight and caring.. Loved our stay there!
We had a guys trip that was Thursday to Sunday! It was really fun and the house was a perfect spot for us to hang out. The yard and house were great for us! I would definitely recommend this property for others and would definitely stay here again!
I have lived in Sea Isle 20yrs ago.... the yard and landscape was above anything i could've expected. House was great and set up very nice...AND allowed allowed our fur babies.Wife and I enjoyed our stay for our 10yr anniversary.
This home was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Exactly what we were looking for to enjoy a few days relaxing and unwinding! Thank you for having us.
We had a wonderful stay at the Mermaid Manor. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We brought a golf cart with us and drove it down the road to the beach. The beach is very close and you can drive your vehicle right on it. There is also a wonderful restaurant located in the back of the neighborhood for those nights when you don't feel like cooking or driving far to eat.
We had a last-minute thought to getaway, and it was so nice! Walking distance to the beach...a couple of blocks. The house is very nice, clean and comfortable, has all the amenities! I appreciate the subtle colors and beach decor. My husband fell in love with the outdoor grill, now wants one for home. Quick responses from Christi. Will definitely reserve again!
This is our second time to stay in the sea isle community, the location of Christi’s house is perfect. You’re 1 block from the bay and 2 blocks from the restaurant and store. The kitchen was a nice open floor plan, and the blue details on the quartz counter tops was so pretty! The only thing I’d suggest is a more comfortable bed in the master. The bunk beds and full bed in the second room were very comfortable, my boys loved their beds! The home has a nice open floor plan, and it was the perfect set up for my family of 4. Christi has equipped the home with everything you would need for a beach trip, and more!
