Needed to bring hand towels and more pans to cook with. But the house is nicely situated and comfortable.

The house is good, it is our second time staying in this house. Other than cosmetic issues it is overall a good place to stay.

Looks great

The property looks great and is in a great location. But there cleaning lacks. The bottom room had mold on walls and smelled so bad of mold the room was unusable.

House was nice and very clean. but the bedroom downstairs smelled horrible. Had to leave the door open couple hours. But still smelled mustyThere were no blankets in the house at all and had a couple cold nights. But the view was nice and very short walk to beach. Would stay again if I didn’t need the bottom room

The house was very nice except for the problems with the internet with the owner canceling it. The property management was helpful but we still did not have it until 4 the next day. The intake filter for the ac was extremely dirty. And you could not use the outdoor shower because it had plumbers tape all over in the water just went everywhere.. I have pictures of the last two if you want me to send them to you.

Beautiful beach house with an awesome old lighthouse/beach house vibe that I really appreciated being from Virginia Beach. Literally about a 1 minute walk to the beach with an amazing view. The house was nice and clean and gave us a peaceful, comfortable family getaway. My wife said it was the best Mother’s Day ever. The kids had a blast, our Frenchies loved it too, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.A couple small things — there was only one TV in the living room, and the downstairs room could feel a little more homey/cozy. We also had a slightly awkward moment around 8 PM when a guy showed up saying he was there to check the trash bin since it was trash night. It ended up being fine, but a quick heads up from the host beforehand would’ve helped.Other than that, we absolutely loved the place and would definitely stay again for another relaxing beach trip.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for the kind words about the home and your stay. We’re very glad your family, including your Frenchies, enjoyed a peaceful and memorable Mother’s Day getaway. We’re sorry the single TV and the feel of the downstairs room did not fully meet your expectations, and we will look into both of these points. We also regret the unexpected visit for the trash check and understand how a heads up would have made things more comfortable, and we will review how we communicate this in the future. We truly appreciate your feedback and would be happy to welcome you back for another beach trip.
