We believe the best vacation is one that takes you away from home but has the same feeling as home. Located near end of street, a low-traffic location – perfect for families with kids! A short 2-minute walk (120 ft) to the coastal beach of Bermuda Beach accessible only to the residents and vacationers in Bermuda Beach – no vehicle traffic to disturb your peaceful day on the beach and no fighting the crowds for a spot for your umbrella. A feel at home beach house fully equipped, adorably decorated beach side vacation home. Our adorable Bungalow sleeps eight people comfohttps://www.vrbo.com/2002774rtably. The master bedroom has French doors out to the patio, as does the living room with two French doors onto the patio. In addition, the living room offers cable TV, and Free wi-fi. Bermuda Bungalow comes with dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, grill, linens, towels, and two covered entertainment areas. The main floor has a 600sq.ft covered decking with a gate, makes our Upstairs deck fantastic to entertain or hang out on in the heat of the day with family /friends! It is fully equipped with lounge chairs and table and chairs. This deck is so comfortable you may want to just sleep outside! The downstairs has a covered entertaining area with 2 swings, table and BBQ grill. We have storage for golf clubs, water toys, and a laundry room with full size washer & dryer, along with a cute 1/2 bath. What makes taking a shower fun is the totally enclosed outside shower complete with warm & cold water! Our yard is plush & green, great to play croquet on it! We are located near the end of a dead end so you can walk or ride bikes without traffic. Quite subdivision with a quite beach. A very comfortable and affordable beach house for a weekend, week or a month!

Awesome stay

We LOVED our week stay here! Love the location and the view any time you look out the windows or doors. We had friends staying at a RV park and they would come over and we all enjoyed meals on the deck. We used the BBQ a couple times. Kitchen had everything we needed. Galveston Bagels were delicious and Sunflower Cafe was amazing as well. Beds were great and the outdoor shower was perfect. Our kids, 8 & 11, loved the bunk beds and being so close to the beach. They enjoyed the boggie boards too. Joy (our puppy) loved the outdoor stick you can put in the ground and put the dog on. She loved all the grass and of course running on the beach. Definitely recommend this place. On the beach and not too far from Galveston.

Absolutely wonderful!

What a fabulous vacation property! (I loved it so much I kind of want to keep this one a secret!) The kitchen was well-equipped. The deck was wonderful - I spent hours relaxing on the lounge chair and enjoying the view. Very close to the beach and easy to get to the beach. I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend.

Perfect getaway spot

This house smelt great as soon as we walked in. It was just as described, and you woupd have to nit pick to try and find something wrong. My wife and i had a great time

Wonderful Getaway

Perfect set up for my wife and I. Wonderful covered deck with an ocean view. I enjoy a sunny beach day just like any other landlubber on vacation but watching the thunderstorms over the ocean from the deck was excellent. Great kitchen for dining in. Would recommend. Shopping is close but not too close if you know what I mean. Comfy, cozy and felt safe. Cost less than a hotel room. Thank you!

After graduating from Ohio State University we headed to Houston to start our careers and family. Waiting on interviews, we stayed in a tent on the beach in Galveston for a week and loved it! Wanted our four boys to experience beach life, fun in the sun and exploring the ocean. They fished, swam, kayaked, build sand castles, found many different shells, shark teeth, and other treasures ( as did we) played volley ball, kick ball, soccer on the beach.... and now in their 20's they enjoy the restaurants, local bars while still playing soccer, fishing, sunbathing on the beach with their friends! Wishing your family the same wonderful memories!

Why they chose this property

Our house is located a few houses from the end of the street. It is a quiet neighborhood, a great place to let children have their fun running around or biking in the street. We have a large yard with GRASS! Which makes it fun to play in after being on the sand all day...

What makes this property unique

One of the unique benefits of Bermuda Bungalow is the large covered porch.
During the extremely hot days the porch stays cool and has a nice breeze. It has a wonderful view of the beach and a great place to just relax, have coffee in the morning, tea and a good book in the afternoon and cocktail in the evening.
The outdoor shower is totally enclosed all all sides and offers both hot and cold water. A wonderful way to wash off the sand and still enjoy the outdoor feeling!
