Great communication with Jim the host in advance. Location very close to blue ridge but still felt private. Loved the gas touch button fireplace and hot tub. Made the cabin very warm and cozy. Very clean. We have a 4WD bronco and kind of needed it to get up the gravel hill but normal car probably ok. Really nice view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Calico Cabin! The hot tub was awesome! The layout of the cabin is perfect for 3 couples ( even though it was just my hubs & I) one bedroom per floor, each with a full bath. The road leading in to the cabin was a challenge for our little Honda HRV but def not a deterrent to renting again. Sooo close to downtown BR!

This cabin was cute and cozy. The view was exactly what we wanted. Check-in and communication from the host was super efficient. We had a fantastic stay. Just a heads up the road up to the property was a bumpy, but you get used to driving it. We are definitely looking to book this one again in the future.

This was our second time staying at calico cabin and couldn't have asked for anything more. Being minutes away from downtown Blue ridge, Georgia gives you access two local attractions. BR scenic railway, Bigfoot excursion, Appalachian trails horseback, Blue ridge off-road adventures to name a few. In addition to the numerous dining experiences. The cabin itself is cozy and we do appreciate the split level suites. Jim, the host is extraordinary. Upon our arrival he had the cabin decorated in Christmas decor.

Awesome cabin clean spacious. Feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Hot tub then directly into double headed cold shower so close to everything fireplace is great warms loft above living room for awesome naps. My husband loved his birthday trip. We thought the location was really nice. We enjoyed eating meals on the balcony overlooking the tree tops on the hill. It was close enough to town to make going to the grocery store and downtown Blue Ridge very convenient. The beds were comfortable and it was nicely set up for us and our small dog. It is on a somewhat steep gravel road that got a bit rugged after a heavy rain storm. Thought it was a great cabin and really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Long Weekend Trip

Calico Cabin is spacious with 3 floors of living and sleeping space. Beautiful views from all 3 decks. Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It is also pet friendly which was perfect for us. Check in process was a breeze and Jim was very responsive with any questions we had. Would highly recommend this cabin.
