The pictures don’t do this place justice. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly well decorated. Sarah was quick to respond to messages. We really enjoyed our stay!!
This property completely lived up to our expectations. It is beautifully restored. The hosts were wonderful. The Cooks Country provenance is fantastic for pbs cooking buffs. It was everything we wanted from our trip to Vermont.
We had the best time with my high school friends. The house was immaculate and it was beautifully decorated for the fall. We would definitely stay again
Amazing House, everything was as advertised and more. Stay here if you want an authentic Vermont Experience. Host was amazing and house had every thing you need for a great VRBO experience.
The house was beautiful and cozy. Well appointed, very clean and all the amenities that you would need. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to others!
Absolutely gorgeous historic home. Well kept and very comfortable for a family. The screened porch and fire pit were a big hit. The owner, Sarah, is so welcoming and always there to answer questions.
Beautiful home!! Kitchen is wonderful to cook in, stocked with all the necessities. Sarah’s gardens and outdoor spaces are immaculate yet comfortable. Definitely will return!
This is a terrific house for a group who want to enjoy sitting by the fire, cooking a lovely meal in a great kitchen, or heading into town to shop, stroll or dine.
House was well appointed with thoughtful touches, exactly as described. The comfort and convenience of an inn or boutique hotel with the privacy of home. Bigger than expected. Gracious hosts. Will recommend to friends and family.
The property was beautiful, well appointed and maintained. (The twin beds were narrower than normal but it was worth it for our group to all be together).
Celebrated my friends bachelorette party here and the house was perfect! Beautifully designed. Clean, comfortable, gorgeous kitchen. Beautiful property!
We had a wonderful time at the Carver house. It was clean, spacious, beautiful and our hosts were so welcoming. Rupert VT is very picturesque and close to the amenities and activities offered in Dorset and Manchester. There was enough room for 10 of us to play, work, cook, eat, play games and watch movies. I highly recommend a stay here!

Beautiful farmhouse, perfect for extended family.
We rented this to attend a family wedding for a weekend of events. We had 4 couples that comfortably stayed in the spacious bedrooms and common areas. There is a nice outdoor space, lovely rocking chairs on the front porch, and a well-appointed kitchen.
