Cosy beach cottage at Verona Sands, hot tub / island views & dog-friendly beach

Cosy get away at a lovely coastal Tasmanian retreat. Families are very welcome—our home is regularly enjoyed by guests with children, with a secure verandah and covered spa area. As with any holiday home, normal supervision is recommended.” 45 minutes South of Hobart. Great base for Bruny or local vineyards. 15 minutes north of Cygnet with its cafes. Or stay put with great views from the verandah or your bedroom balcony. Dog friendly beach a few hundred meters away. Swim or kayak at Pick- up beach, snorkel at Ninepin Marine reserve, walk to Charlotte's Cove or try out our wood heated hot tub with a drink and if you are really lucky an Aurora!

Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please ensure security camera is ON when you leave ( switch in laundry)

Please pack away your clean dishes. Clean the BBQ if you used it. ( This is why we got rid of our gas BBQ)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We are on rain water so no laundry for stays under 4 days. Please be mindful of your water usage when showering, washing dishes and toiletting..
The hot tub is temporarily out of order and undergoing repairs until further notice. A complimentary late checkout of 12PM is provided in the interim.
PLEASE only flush human waste and toilet paper down septic. Baby wipes, paper towel, sanitary items should be binned. Charges may apply for blockages.

Why they chose this property

I love Pickup Beach, and it's dog friendly. It has lovely views to Bruny and Huon Islsnds.It's a quiet friendly little community where people help each other out. It's a scenic drive from Hobart and close to Cygnet and vineyards.

What makes this property unique

The bedroom balcony and. Verandah overlooks the beach and islands. The hot tub is a great way to unwind at the end of the day. It has a doggy door for medium sized dogs.
