This charming Queenslander house is in a quiet street and was located close to everything we needed. We stayed for 3 weeks while our house was being repaired. It was our 3rd Stayz house over 3 months. When we walked into the house it smelt and looked very clean. From a cleaning perspective, the only issue was the cupboard in the main bathroom which had a foul odour that never went away during our stay. There is a good selection of crockery and kitchenware but don't have baking dishes, tupperware or a decent frypan. The host is not generous with dishwashing tablets, cleaning cloths or garbage bags. And the toilet paper is awful - cheap and thin. The biggest negative about this house was the quality of 2 of the beds - they were like sleeping on concrete with no support. Only 1 of the beds could be rated as the bare minimum for a rental property. Our backs are still recovering a month later. The terrible beds really let down the property. The showers were good (main better than ensuite). We knew the bath was not working so that wasn't a problem, but the bath did leak for a few days but the host did compensate us with a goodwill payment after our stay. The washing machine is in the bathroom & blocks the towel rail. There is no dryer.Unfortunately we left 2 lunchbags behind and despite repeated attempts to immediately retrieve them, the host couldn't help us.The booking process is a little tedious & over complicated. Checking-in was easy.
