Welcome to our cabin! With a loft bedroom, efficient kitchen and bathroom with large shower. The cabin has central heat and air conditioning and a whole house backup generator to ensure no power interruptions during your stay. The cabin is the perfect home base for 2 people. Just a short 15 minute walk to town. One dog may be allowed with prior approval. Contact host prior to booking if you are bringing a dog, no other species of animals allowed. Pet fee is $25 per night per dog collected at check in. The property is fenced and gated. Permit # RVC 001890

Awesome experience!

We loved that we were able to bring our pup to this cozy, modern cabin to enjoy a quick weekend getaway. The cabin was super clean, yet comfortable, and Gary made us feel very welcome. The cabin had all the amenities and was easy to navigate; instructions were laid out clearly. We also enjoyed the privacy that the property offers. It was great to have a cafe within a short walk away and it was otherwise a quick drive into town. The Tesla charger was also a great bonus that saved us a stop on the journey home!

Fun time in a modern cabin

Cabin was nice and clean. However, the bed was quite uncomfortable (and seemed like maybe a double) and the kitchen was so small there was no room to do any prep even just to make eggs in the morning. Check out instructions were not super clear (wash dishes? Strip bed?) and no WiFi password given on checkin and had to ask and wait to get it. I loved the modern decor. Might return if we don’t want to cook at all. Pet friendly is nice too.

Thanks Karen for pointing out the cabin is clean and modern, just as described. The mattress is a tuft and needle and it is a queen size and up until now I have never heard a negative comment regarding the bed in over 100 reviews across multiple platforms. The pictures are accurate and yes the kitchen is small as shown. Perhaps had I given you the 4 hour late check out you asked for you would have been less inclined to leave negative comments.

Labor Day Getaway

This modern cabin was very well built, clean and comfortable. Spent a good amount of time on the deck enjoying the weather and moonlight. Great place for a couple getaway and our dog was welcome to join us.

Amazing Stay!!

What an amazing property, perfect for us and the pup. It was close to everything and so comfortable and homey. Gary has really made sure his properties have everything you could need to feel like home. It was also very dog friendly, when we arrived he had a bowl of water waiting (she was thirsty so it was sooo appreciated) bowls for food, extra bags for cleanup and provided a blanket so her comfort. . He also had vegetables that we were able to pick and I have to say the tomatoes were incredible. This will definitely be our spot whenever we come to Idyllwild. I would highly recommend this property or one of the others that allow more guest. Serious top notch detail!!

Perfect couple's getaway spot!

This property is SQUEAKY clean, modern, super-comfortable and so dog friendly! Gary was a perfect and very responsive host. Loved the wonderful bed, the Roku TV (with HBO, Netflix, Disney, Hulu and tons of other streaming sites), the comfy leather sectional in the living area, and leather oversize reading chair in the loft. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We had a fabulous time with our Australian Shepherd, Piper, who quickly became addicted to eating snow! Perfect place for a couple and a well-trained dog to enjoy Idylkwild's wonders.

INCREDIBLE PLACE

Awesome experience, cabin was exceptionally clean with all the extra items required for a stay to include flashlights and snow shovel. The place is well stocked with supplies and equipped with lots of modern touches such as Roku TV, lighted stairway, plenty of USB outlets, dimmer switches, heated bathroom, and all the kitchen amenities!!!
