QUIET, CLEAN, COZY and SECLUDED. Boulder Creek Cottage is located in the premiere neighborhood of Fern Valley at 6,000’ in the mountain town of Idyllwild California.

We would love to accommodate your stay in our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage for your Idyllwild experience. Our cottage sleeps 4 to 6 people. King size bed in master BR with large flat-screen HD TV. Queen size bed in guest BR. We also have 2 roll-away beds available for our guests.

The log pine interior offers a fully stocked updated kitchen and provides everything you need for the ultimate dinner with friends and family. Charming great room offers a wood burning fireplace, large flat-screen HD TV, and free WI-FI. We also have a full washer & dryer. You will be just a 3 minute drive to town.

Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
At the end of your stay please leave laundry on top of the washer, leave the used beds unmade, fold and return all extra blankets to closet.
Make sure to remove all your food and personal items, dishes must be cleaned and put away, heaters turned off, electric blankets turned off, windows closed, and everything locked up.
Don’t forget to return the key(s) to the lockbox & the Adventure Pass to the hutch if you used it. Please cover the firewood before you leave.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

This place is amazing, Larry and Anne are absolutely amazing hosts, check in is easy and everything was kept clean and beautiful. The cabin is amazing and dreamy I was I could stay more longer but next time!

This property is a great location. Wonderful place to relax and apend time with nature. Property owner is super helpful and the property itself was stocked with everything that we needed and the owner was super helpful even giving us a warning of potential surprise snow the day we left.

Great weekend away!!!

This was our second stay at the cabin. We will definitely come back again. It's absolutely beautiful and Larry is very attentive and very easy to work with. The cabin has such a relaxing atmosphere.

The location of the cabin was off the main road, a great, quiet, private location with beautiful walking trails. The cabin itself was very comfortable, cozy and had everything we could possibly need. Will definitely return.

Great Cozy and Quiet Place

Wonderfully pleased with the cabin and property. Great Location, a very nice layout, and a kitchen. We just spent the 4th of July Holiday and that large deck was ideal for a BBQ get-together. Very pleased, the host was very approachable and friendly.

Perfect Getaway Vacation

We couldn't have experienced a more pleasant stay. The cabin was inviting , quaint and cozy. It was immaculately clean and accommodating. Gorgeous Deck

Cute cabin, very clean. Well stocked kitchen & bathrooms. The deck was our favorite! We enjoyed sitting out there post-hikes, watching the birds, listening to the little creek.

Picture perfect cabin in the woods

From booking to check-out the communication was superb. The cabin is beautiful and is exactly as pictured. The cabin is also filled with board games and cards for your family to really relax. Our children loved playing outdoors in the little creek.

Idyllic, quiet cabin

We wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was perfect for our family of four. It is clean and cosy and had everything we needed. The lack of a dishwasher was not a problem for a weekend stay. We loved the huge boulders around the cabin and enjoyed watching squirrels and deer. We highly recommend the place!

Oh so cute and Comfortable.

Perfect in every way for 2 couples. Larry is the best host as well. Lots of wildlife right outside the window. One of my favorites was watching the hummingbird coming to the hummingbird feeder right outside the window as I sat on the living room couch. We will be back for sure!

Peaceful, cozy cabin

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The cabin was cozy, quiet and peaceful, and my kids loved hiking and playing near the little creek. Communication with the owner was outstanding: he was always prompt, courteous and helpful. My kids were in tears about leaving and are already asking about returning. Thank you thank you!!

Cozy Boulder Cabin

Private and peaceful, and set up against nothing but trees and large boulders, this wonderful cabin was a perfect retreat to celebrate my birthday with my husband. Leading a hectic life in Orange County. I needed a little getaway to relax not be on the computer and not wrap Christmas gifts. Well, equipped, beautifully maintained and extremely comfortable this cabin is the perfect getaway for 2 to 4 people .

What a wonderful place! My best friend and I had a girls' weekend away and we could not have been more pleased with this lovely cabin. It's cozy, comfortable and very well appointed. We did not lack for anything.Larry is a considerate and thoughtful host. Special shout out for the new sponge in the kitchen! My always pet peeve is a sponge that you don't know where it's been. I usually bring my own, but forgot it this time. What a great surprise to find that! I would add another star just for the new sponge.You will love this place-a perfect 10!

Our cottage is located up against the national forest and offers a secluded and quiet retreat for our guests. Being the last property on the street just adds to the mountain ambiance and privacy. It is not uncommon to see deer on our property.
