Excellent WIFI throughout. The cabin is semi-private. You can see other cabins from the deck, but the trees do give you a good amount of privacy..

A slice of mtn heaven

This cabin is top-notch! It is very clean, cozy, and exactly what you imagine when seeking a mountain getaway. The location is perfect for both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Grab a good book, unplug, and enjoy the sounds of nature around you—you won't regret it one bit!

Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean, they provided many towels for our stay and the communication with the host was excellent. He checked in on us while we were there. The instructions were very clear for everything and we really enjoyed the hot tub. The king bed was really comfortable. Definitely will be booking again!

Cozy!

The cabin is very nice and cozy, located in a scenic area of the smoky mountains. All of the amenities are in excellent condition. The cleanest cabin we've been to. Hosts are very attentive and welcoming of any questions we had.

Perfect location!!

This cabin was in the PERFECT spot! It is right in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. My kids loved the upstairs loft and we all appreciated the hot tub after long hikes and never-ending rounds of putt putt. Perfect cabin for our small family!

Great vacation!

Cabin was great. Location was perfect... close to PF/Gatlinburg yet in a quiet, rustic setting. We are a family of 4 with 2 pups, and the cabin was perfect. We also were lucky enough to enjoy a black bear visiting our porch, as well as a flying squirrel and chipmunk. We would definitely recommend this cabin for smaller families. Thanks gor a great trip!!!

Mountain Get Away

Nice quite place to get away and relax. Great place for a couple or small family. Barbeque is a bit of a challenge being on a step hill. Close to a lot of place.

Great Family Trip

We loved our stay at the property. The owners were very responsive to the questions we had. The cabin was clean and as described. The street up to the cabin is steep and narrow. This seems to be common in the area.

Wonderful cabin

We had a great time at this darling little cabin nestled quietly in the woods. From check-in to check-out, the hosts communicate and make sure that all your needs are taken care of. We left some things behind and the host even offered to mail them back to us which is very appreciated. This also offered an ideal location as it is a very short drive to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Precious House and Excellent Host

Whiskey Ridge is a precious house off the beaten path of the crowded streets and city. It has absolutely everything you could possibly need and is nicely decorated! The hot tub was a big hit for our college aged son and the kitchen was just right to cook our breakfast before we started our day. We were so close to everything like Dollywood, Pigeon Forge shopping and hiking the Smokey’s. Joel was so gracious to offer restaurants and The Local Goat was a favorite!!! The beds were so comfortable and the recliners were great for movie watching and football games!! Myers loved chasing squirrels and chipmunks and the wooded areas were perfect for his doggie breaks. A wonderful stay!

The cabin was all it claimed to be. We saw a large black bear come out of the brush and get into the garbage at the cabin next door. On the down side, the cabins all around made it feel like the "burbs"!

Perfect family cabin!

We had a great stay! Joel and Claire were great hosts. Their communication was excellent. Check in was smooth, when we didn't have any propane for the fire table they had someone deliver it, and they even messaged to make sure we were aware of a winter storm coming. The place was clean and so cute! All the amenities were accurate. We enjoyed the hot tub and our kids loved the arcade game in the loft. We had everything we needed. The location is great, in the mountain but still close to all the fun stuff/restaurants/stores. We wish we could have stayed longer and would absolutely stay again!

Nice quiet place.

Nice quiet place to spend time with family. Very clean. It has enough space for the couple with 1-2 kids. The owner made a gift basket for our 14 years old daughter, and it was unbelievable fancy and useful (like we would do it ourselves). We were there on 12.30-01.03 - don't do our mistake, do not go to the Gatlinburg (3miles through the downtown - 1 hour to drive ).

Away From The Strip!

This cabin is a welcome escape from the touristy excitement of the Pigeon Forge “Vegas” strip. We came to visit Dollywood with 3 year old twins but not spend time at all the other numerous attractions. This cabin is away from the attractions, in the quiet mountains where we could relax, but not too far away from dinner or Dollywood. The cabin is clean, modern, and comfortably furnished. We have a small RWD SUV, and it handled the steep drive fine if we picked up speed before going up the hill.

Mountaintop Cabin

The cabin is nice. The first floor bedroom has a small closet but doesn’t have a dresser to put your stuff on. Also, no room for suitcases in there, so we set them up in the corner of the living room. The bathroom is small but adequate. The kitchen is well stocked and modern. The living room has two recliners and a sleeper sofa.The road up to the cabin is steep, winding and narrow. The location is between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so access to activities is great.

Convenient Location

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The communication and check-in/out process was very smooth. You MUST have a 4X4 to get up the hills to get to the house. We brought our truck and was fine but I have doubts about my non-all wheel drive making it there even without any winter conditions. My only major complaint is that there's construction immediately next door. The porta potty is literally next to the master bedroom window. We were informed of this when we received our check-in information, which was really too late to make any changes. It wasn't too bad for us as we were up early and not at the house most of the day. If you're planning to hang around, this won't the best fit until construction ends.

Wonderful Fall trip, location is perfect for easy access to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This cozy Cabin had everything we needed and having our dog along made us feel right at home. Having a dark bedroom is important and this one delivered, between the heavy tree cover and drapes we were really able to sleep in late. Loved that they had box fans in the rooms.

We had a great stay this past week! The cabin is located in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so it was easy to visit both areas which were very busy this time of year. We hiked or biked every day in the Smoky Mountains and it was so nice to come back to the cabin after a long hike and soak in the hot tub. The cabin had everything when we got there - towels, soap, laundry detergent, coffee pods & coffee maker, etc. Joel was extremely responsive to us when we had some trouble with the wifi. Be careful for bears! This cabin is in the woods and although there are other cabins/people around, we had a bear come right up on the porch (bring bear spray). If you’re bringing your dogs be careful. We brought our two beagles with us and drove down the hill to walk them in a grassy area (bring bug spray). This was a very quick drive and gave us the space we needed to walk them. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot. It was so nice to have a washer/dryer in the cabin. We didn’t discover the ring game on the front porch until our last night and it was so much fun. The cabin could use a power wash on the outside - lots of spider webs. Overall I would recommend staying here. It was great to be in nature and unplug for a few days.
