Great Chateau

What a great place! Roomy, comfortable, clean, very well stocked kuchen, enough linens, lots of charm. We didn't know that your share walks with the ownersbut you never felt it. There is camping on the property but it is not in your way. I would stay there again.

Not what I expected from the website information about the property (including some info from customer reviews which I appreciate are not the direct responsibility or input of the owners), although it turned out to be fine/ok as the base for our family vacation.A few key areas where there were gaps between expectations and reality:1) The main picture of the house on the website is quite misleading as most of what is in that photo is the home of the owners not the part of the building that has been divided off for guests.2) The property is advertised as a 5 bedroom house, but actually 2 of the bedrooms are in a separate annex across a small yard from the main part of the house. 3) A number of the reviews refer to how well equipped and comfortable the house is with top of the range amenities. While there's a large quantity of crockery/cutlery in line with the huge inside dining table that looks more set up for hosting party events than a family dinner, the quality all-round is very ordinary. The kitchen is very small with no proper oven (just a small portable), a hob with just 3 rings, normal utensils, but knives all totally blunt. Cooking for 6-8 adults was a grind.Living area is large, but has hard, uncomfortable seats/sofas for max 6 people. Bedrooms are fine, but bathrooms quite old/tired and one stank of chlorine all week. All ok, but much more basic/rustic than many of the reviews suggested.

Il est vraiment regrettable que nous n'ayons pas été informé avant notre arrivée que la piscine ne fonctionnait pas.Etant donné le montant de la location, les propriétaires auraient pu faire un geste car nous avons du rajouter 225 à notre arrivée...Ce montant était convenu donc je le conteste pas mais la piscine était également convenu et nous ne l'avons pas eu... Très DECEVANT comme raisonnement commercial...Cordialement.

Je vous fais la même réponse que je vous ai faite en privé... En préambule nous précisons bien dans le descriptif de notre annonce que nous avons une piscine d'ETE. Il ne s'agit pas d'un problème technique auquel cas nous vous aurions informés en amont de votre séjour. Nous avons une piscine équipée d'un chauffage solaire et en complément photovoltaique . Nous avons mis en chauffe depuis le 1er mai. Le week-end précédent votre séjour nos hôtes se sont baignés. Mais la semaine qui a précédé votre arrivée (le 7 mai) nous avons eu un cumul de pluie exceptionnelle : 1oo mm d'apport d'eau froide dans la piscine et des températures nocturnes à moins de 10 degrés...dans ces conditions il est impossible de chauffer l'eau de la piscine au delà de 17 à 18 degrés. Nous avons donc décidé de ne pas débâcher la piscine car la température était trop basse pour que vous puissiez vous baigner. Je suis désolée mais début mai nous ne garantissons jamais une piscine utilisable. Quant au supplément réglé il est justifié par une arrivée tardive et un départ tardif (16 heures à la place de 10 heures). Vous souhaitiez bénéficier de cette option comme vous le faites remarquer. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et sympathiques, le gîte est très chouette et les produits vendus au magasin de producteurs sont délicieux, notamment toute la viande de porc.

Beau gite rural ,confortable, bien équipé Environnement idéal pour les enfants . Très bon accueil.

En week end familial ,nous étions avec trois enfants très contents de découvrir la ferme à proximité et les grands espaces pour courir .Disponibilité et gentillesse de notre hôtesse .Le gite est très confortable , bien organisé pour que chaque chambre soit tranquille ,bien insonorisé.Bon équipement général.

La bâtisse est tout simplement superbe Tout est prévu pour que le séjour soit parfait Emplacement au top Les propriétaires sont d une extrême gentillesse et très professionnelles Nous avions besoin d un peu plus de chauffage, ils n ont pas hésité à venir un samedi soir à 22h00 pour augmenter la chaudière Je recommande vivement cette location

Nous avons passé un super sejour a 7 avec des enfants en bas age. Tout est tres bien equipé et fonctionnel. Seule surprise, la piscine est partagee ce qui netait pas clair pour nous a la lecture de lannonce.

Un séjour très agréable

Corinne et Joël sont des hôtes charmants. La maison est spacieuse et très agréable. Le fait que la piscine soit séparée de la maison est un plus de sécurité avec des enfants en bas âge. La région regorge de trésors de visites de jolis villages, de randonnées. on y mange très bien et à des prix raisonnables. Nous avons passé 2 excellentes semaines
