Beautiful cabin. Very clean, had lots of things to use in the kitchen. Nothing was broke or missing from the listing. Host was very easy to communicate with, super nice and apologized for the inconveniences that the weather caused. Fire pit area was nice. The platform for the dock floated out because of rain so we weren't able to access it. Very quite area though. Short walk to the lake. The listing does say 12 miles to mammoth cave national park. That is to the park, if you are looking to see the caves it is much further. If you're looking for a little getaway with friends or family this is a nice little place to stay.

We found this home to be charming. The interior was unique with its lodge style interior. The home was mostly clean; we would have given it 5 stars had someone checked on the morning of our arrival. We found a dead bug in the bathtub and the master bed sheets/pillow cases were stained from a roof leak. While I could see this would be a wonderful stay for most folks, it wasn’t a good fit for us. This listing had said zero stair entry but the least amount of stairs at one of the entries was 4 steps. We need ranch style homes when traveling with our elderly dogs who can’t do the steps. As well, those with dogs should be aware that there’s only a small patch of grass for dogs to relieve themselves. I suppose that’s not an issue until they need to go out at 1am. The rest of the surrounding yard is rocks. We did end up leaving 0600 the next morning due to these concerns. We let Evolve know and suggested a partial refund but never heard back from them.
