We had a great time at the house. Sitting on the deck overlooking the lake was magical. The house was very clean and accommodated our needs very well. We would recommend this place to anyone (in fact on one of our Montreal trips, we did!)
From the day we booked to the day we left, our host Anais was exceptional! Incredible communication, helpful, and attentive! The property was gorgeous! We had everything we needed!
From the moment we arrived, the owner greeted us to share all the essential information about the property. We had a beautiful girls weekend with all the amenities that we needed from the well organized kitchen, clean bedrooms, comfortable beds, the large dining table and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We had a fire and enjoyed a glass of wine by the picturesque water. This was exactly the type of cottage location we wanted while maintaining a close proximity to Montreal. I definitely recommend the Spa Finlandais nearby which we all enjoyed. 10/10 stay, would recommend to family and friends!
This is a sweet retreat! This little rustic beauty is nestled in the trees, sits on the riverbank, and has a wonderful view of the river and the many islands within it. It's easy to forget you are in the city because it is so private. The house is tastefully decorated, large, and comfortable, with loads of natural light. There are lovely outdoor areas - a patio with ample seating and a fire pit with seating. Mario and Anais are consummate hosts - delightful, effective communicators, and very attentive, assuring all was going well with our stay. Our main reason for the stay was to acquaint ourselves with Montreal, so we drove to the nearest Metro Station (16 minutes by car) and had a very easy time getting in and out of the city. The best of both - city visits during the day with lovely, comfortable evenings at our home away from home. Our hosts were very accommodating when we had questions about navigating the Metro and road systems.Would definitely choose this place again ourselves and highly recommend it to others.
The property was exactly as described. Pictures do not do it justice. It was spacious, beautiful and spotless. It had everything we needed for a week stay. Anais and Mario were great hosts. I highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere close to Montreal but do not want to stay in the city.
Hi! This beautiful home with a lakefront view was just perfect. The property was well maintained, clean and had everything one needs with a homey feel. The owners were soooo nice and most accommodating. If we get back to the montreal area, we will definitely want to stay here again!!!
