We really enjoyed our time in this lovely rental. We lived here while we were house hunting after moving to Ottawa. It is centrally located and easy to reach all of the different neighbourhoods in the Ottawa region that we were house hunting in, and it is an easy drive to all amenities (groceries, medical clinics and pharmacies, vet, churches, farmer's markets, department stores, etc). There is a honey farm less than a block away, and there are many local trails and attractions within a 30 minute drive. The large backyard with a covered sitting area meant we didn't feel cooped up inside, and the fully-stocked kitchen meant we could make regular home-cooked meals instead of depending on restaurants. Best of all, host is amazing. He was very responsive to messages and frequently answered in less than 30 minutes. Whenever we had an issue throughout our long stay, he always took care of it immediately. As I was teleworking at the time, he let me borrow an office desk and chair so I could turn one of the bedrooms into a home office. He made us (and our pets) feel very welcome and we legitimately enjoyed getting to know him.
