This was a wonderful cozy cottage located in a beautiful private neighborhood of New Buffalo. Mature trees and other beautiful homes surrounded this property. A very short drive to downtown, farmers market, or red arrow highway. • Managed by a private company and was open to any concerns during business hours•The beach access points (2) were located about a 6-8 minute walk away, a small private beach for members of this association. (look for the blue crosswalks- beach is not marked from road ) The beach never seemed too crowded and we left our chairs by the stairs until we checked out so we didn't have to lug them each time. We loved the beach and thought this was one of the best features of the property. •The hot tub was a nice bonus ( protip, do this at daytime bc the mosquitos will eat you alone if the sun goes down). We didn't end up using the campfire because of the mosquitos but would be nice in the fall or winter. •The 3 season porch had a dining table and a small bed if the weather was right for sleeping out there. ( too hot in july for us) •3 wall a/c units kept the living and bedrooms cooled off during our stay. ( a little noisy when they turn on and off so I rec bringing ear plugs if your a light sleeper)•Quality linens, beachtowels, and fully stocked kitchen. A nice welcome kit included kitchen laundry soaps. ( tip: check the lint trap inside the door it was very full when we arrived and assumed people didnt know how to empty it). -Ty will be back
