Perfect rental for a romantic couple’s get away, outdoor activities or just relaxing. Very spacious, well appointed with many thoughtful little touches. Great patio with gas grill and nice table for outdoor eating. Host Scott communicated promptly. Easy access to kayaking on Squam lake (rental at Squam lake Association was very reasonable) and lots of different hikes. Many restaurants - some you should reserve weeks ahead. Cell service is spotty around the area so download hiking maps before leaving. Excellent WiFi throughout property. We will recommend to friends and would definitely stay again.

Thank you, Catherine, for such a warm and thoughtful review! I’m so glad you and your partner enjoyed the space, the patio for outdoor dining, and found it a great home base for kayaking on Squam Lake and hiking. Your tips about spotty cell service and reserving restaurants ahead are super helpful for future guests. It means a lot that you’d recommend us to friends and would stay again — hope to host you both for another getaway soon!
