About this property

Peaceful and cozy cottage on small quiet lake -family and pet friendly as well!

Quiet lakeside retreat away from the city. You have access to the entire cottage and property. Relax, unwind, chill out. Good fishing, hike nearby trails, get out and explore the lake with three small islands, at night enjoy the campfire and star filled skies. Canoe, kayaks and SUP included with rental. Beautiful sun rises and sets. This property is ideal for those looking for a quiet getaway, not those looking to party.

*Water pump has UV filter but water has not been tested and it is not advisable to drink *
Each rental comes with two 15L bottles for water cooler. If more is needed then this is the responsibility of the renter.
Two single and one tandem kayak, one paddle board, one canoe and five and 2 youth adult life jackets provided.
No TV or WI-FI onsite, cell reception best by lake
Dishes, utensils provided, basic pots and cookie sheets available
Renters must remove all garbage and recycling upon check out if not an additional $50 fee will be charged
Property is pet friendly, but be respectful and clean up after your dog
To help control the weeds in the lake, we have an underwater blower that runs at night. This is not a toy and not to be touched or climbed on. Stay clear and everyone can enjoy the water! This is a private lake and there is no boat launch.
Renters must bring own bedding (pillows, sheets, blankets) and towels.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Remove all garbage and recycling (must take with you), empty compost into black bin left of the back stairs
Please close all windows, turn off lights and fans and lock both the front AND back doors.
If you used the canoe and/or kayaks, return them to the stand and put paddles and life jackets back where you found them
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
