Welcome to our cozy waterfront cottage on Benson Lake, part of the beautiful Rideau Water System! This charming two-bedroom retreat offers a perfect getaway for families and friends.
Enjoy stunning lake views and direct access to the water, creating an ideal setting for relaxation and adventure. There are a big portable AC, propane BBQ, fire pit, access to semi private boat launch - 1 min drive, at the end of our road. Swimming is not suitable from the dock. We have a swimming platform and provide canoe or SUP to get there.
From the cottage you will be able to explore 5 different lakes without going through a lock. The lakes are - Benson, Mosquito, Clear, Indian, Newboro.
Explore nearby Rideau trail, perfect for hiking and nature walks, or take a short drive to the picturesque village of Westport, where you can find charming shops and delightful restaurants. For golf enthusiasts, there are excellent golf courses just a stone's throw away.
Whether you’re looking to unwind by the water, enjoy outdoor activities, or explore the local area, our cottage is the perfect destination for your next escape!

A slice of paradise! The whole experience exceeded expectations. The property is deep in the bush with a few friendly neighbours. The hosts were inviting, caring and overall great people. Our dog had glorious freedom and a few friendly neighbourhood dogs to socialize with. I cannot recommend this place enough. A great time for the family. We can’t wait to visit again with a couple more little ones. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

Lovely cottage

Tatiana was a super host who made sure we were comfortable and all our questions were answered. The view from the cottage was beautiful and relaxing. Tatiana let us rent her kayaks and we had a great time paddling on the water. I had to work one day of our visit and was happy that the Internet was strong enough to handle a Teams call with high quality. There were lots of cute touches around the cottage and a nice outdoor spot for eating and relaxing outside. We're new to Vrbo and didn't see to bring our own linens, but it's important to know this includes towels and dish/hand towels.We'd definitely stay again in the future!

We had a lovely time at Tatiana' s cottage. She was very attentive to our needs and responds immediately. Something to keep in mind is no supplies are provided. Bring your own soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels and sheets. No direct swimming from the house. We are planning on returning despite these comments. Thanks again Tatiana

This property is incredible. It’s a smaller but cute and comfortable cottage. It was clean and they were very accommodating to us. The hosts were friendly and ready to help. It’s hidden in the trees but not too remote either! With wifi included it was a comfortable stay. We were able to see multiple deers around the property and felt very safe. There was little to no bugs surprisingly! The lake is a 30 second walk where you can enjoy fishing. We were able to catch a couple different bass and it was a huge adrenaline rush. Westpoint is a good little town to walk thru and don’t forget about the many awesome tours Kingston offers less than an hour away!
